The production on this is outstanding. Like on a par with Northlane's Mesmer album. Well balanced, not too punchy. Bass actually cutting through the mix and integral to the guitar tones. This is what I like about djent and prog - some bands actually push themselves.

Sadly, it doesn't really work for me. I miss the "umpf" tracks like Paradox had. This just feels way too onedimensional. I really enjoyed the darker vibe, which played well with the singing style or really soft parts which for instance Static Between Us had. This just feels like the middle of the road in every direction.
