With all due respect to your devotion and to your teacher, whom I also respect. Just a linguistic consideration for you, the addition 'la' by a name is actually in use for common people to make a name of someone more intimate. In case the designation 'Rinpoche' is appended after a name this is a higher replacement for the addition 'la' as such you can understand that the addition 'la' is no longer appropriate.
