this lesson really is a game changer. You described exactly my drive flight patterns - Low. This morning I tried your recommendations. (1). feet together with ball and Driver in the center of the 2 feet. (2) Move the left foot at about 3 inc, (3) move right leg back about 1 to 1.5 ft. Club set at the original position in (1). The results were quite astounding. My Fairway hit was at least 80%. The ball flights were higher and with lots of forward spin and rool forward about 20 to 30 yards . My drives today were about 20 to 30 yards longer and better yet, straight. So many youtube lessons out there but yours were the most beneficial so far. THANK YOU.

Glad to have helped and really pleased to hear you have gained considerable distance. I would suggest you also now experiment with your tee height. It is very likely that now you are hitting more on the upswing you may need a slightly higher tee height. Good luck and well done.

Just encounter this lovely channel, may I say it’s very informative and relaxing way to swing a golf ball. I try to mimic the dance, although it’s as effortless as it’s, I end up topping the golf ball 70% of the time😢. No matter what I do , i seem to marry with this thin shot business. Some people say I’m a bit tense, some say I lift my head too often, I try to rectify the situation without success. Any other advise for me? …… stay safe and healthy. --- victor

Hi Victor every golfer gets told they brought their head up every time they hit a bad shot for whatever reason!! Best advice - completely ignore that, it is 99.999% likely to be wrong! However, tension shortens muscles and either this or mis-timing or gripping too tight are likely to be the cause of topping. We are going to produce a video on this soon but bear this in mind…. Your eyes can only see the top of the ball when in fact you want to hit the opposite side of the ball that you can’t see that is 1.68” further away. If you relax and let the club swing, & take some effort out, your timing should improve and with relaxed shoulders arms & wrists you will find this lower point. A good exercise is to cut some small pieces of paper and swing and clip these off the ground (alternatively clip the tops off daisies) it will soon become habitual and you will see top shots gradually disappear out of your game. I know I’m biased but stick with our channel, our newsletter and or join our club and you will follow the Easiest way to learn and improve. That’s a promise!

To help with hitting up on the ball, after picking out my target, I just look above this target and focus on a higher target, like a cloud. If the sky is clear, I still just focus on hitting my ball above my target on the ground.

I had subscribed and been a fan of this channel....until today. Anyone suggesting that anyone can add 75 yards to their drives in one day or by doing one thing differently is a scammer or just setting up click bait. Good bye and now I understand why you only have a small following.

We are sorry to lose you but in reality we are just showing how club golfers could lose up to 75 yards by not getting some of the basics right. Brian once was coaching an 88 year old golfer who was only hitting it 75 metres. With a few minor alterations out of the Easiest Swing workbook this golfer was soon hitting the ball 150 metres.

First time I ever heard an explanation of the figures on the trackman ( or whatever it is)that made sense to me! Thanks. I used to watch a video with a Mexican pro who would pick a spot four inches behind the ball directly opposite his sternum and get the ball to shallow out there, he called it the 'decoy', his reasoning was the same as yours.

How do you keep low point 1 foot behind the ball and not hit the ground. I feel like I need to squat, use hips, to generate power, and this just leads to hitting the ground, otherwise I'm just stood tall with straight legs and no power.
@Easiestswing
@Easiestswing Ай бұрын
Difficult to say without seeing you but I am guessing there is less power coming from squatting and driving your hips than you realise. Try taking swings such as you mention with straighter legs and maintaining height but look to reduce tension. I suspect that’s where you will find answers. Hope that helps.

Many golfers will exert a lot of effort trying to swing fast, we call this powerless effort. The key is to relax, and reduce effort, what we call effortless power. You can do it!

I can't even swing at 80mph. How can I possibly get up to 90? I have tried the various swing speed tools and protocols.
@philipsparks8315
@philipsparks8315 Жыл бұрын
@@JeffPassageCPA You will almost certainly be engaging effort that you are unaware of and may possibly have tension in your hands wrists arms or shoulders that needs reducing. It’s the crazy thing about golf that the more you free these areas the faster your clubhead speed becomes. I’m sure you can learn “effortless power” rather than “powerless effort”. Keep trying and I hope that helps.
@SL0409
@SL0409 Жыл бұрын
Probably gripping the club way to hard which causes tension and slows everything down If 10 is the tightest you can possibly grip and 1 is the loosest and it would fall out your hands, you should be aiming for a 3 in grip strength (most players are 6-8, which is too much) Let gravity pull the weight of the club to the ground rather than you trying to use your arms to move it faster Danny maude has numerous lessons with his students. One guy was max 81 on club head speed and by the end of the lesson was doing 105-110 and carrying alot further

No problem Rod. This is to create a visual cue of where the center (bottom) of the swing will be, helping to visualise striking the ball on the upswing.

Sounds like one thing is correcting the other. If you want to make this change you need to discover a way to allow the clubface to close later in the swing.

is swing speed the same as clubhead speed? impressive generating 110mph with the easiest swing!
@philipsparks8315
@philipsparks8315 Жыл бұрын
Great question - no swing speed and clubhead speed are not the same. I am always looking for a slower swing speed which ALLOWS me to create more clubhead speed. This is one of the most common “amateur” mistakes we see, where players create fast swing speeds but that doesn’t necessarily translate into faster clubhead speeds. That’s why at Easiest Swing we recommend using 2/3 power. For most players you will create MORE clubhead speed when you do this. One of the most common misconceptions we come across is that using Easiest Swing you will lose power when in actual fact the opposite will happen - just read more of our reviews we hear from thousands of golfers who increase their distance with Easiest Swing it truly is the magic potion!! Hope this helps

Easiest Swing unlocks impressive clubhead speed like this. It often deceives golfers with the lazy and slow appearance. We advocate 'Effortless Power' over powerless effort.

I'm 62, but still flexible and swinging hard. I am absolutely gobsmacked that you have a 109 mph clubhead speed that looks easy. I'm lucky to break 85 mph. Need to really improve my timing I guess.

I think you have answered this yourself by saying you are “swinging hard” and getting 85mph philip is swinging “easy” and getting 109 suggest you relax and swing “easy” and see what happens!!

Hello from Louisiana! I just finished “Positive Impact Golf” and really enjoyed it. Also watching all your KZbin content has been a game changer. I’m a big believer in the head movement and la danse as it has made my swing feel effortless. I have one question…with driver as my head is naturally moving from back to front should I try to keep it behind the ball at impact or just let it flow? It looks like Brian’s head is slowing down/stoping just before impact. Thanks guys keep up the great content.

Hi John and welcome aboard! Great to hear that you really enjoyed the book, hopefully it has helped you understand why Brian created Easiest Swing and how it would help golfers. Really pleased you have found our KZbin content so helpful for your game and have gained an effortless swing. With the Driver, it is important that we strike the ball on the upswing to gain the most efficiency. With this intention in mind, your awareness of the club head throughout the swing will guide your body and head movement. No need to consciously restrict any movement, just have an awareness of co-ordination and timing to complete the intention.

does shaft flex have any influence?
@Easiestswing
@Easiestswing 11 ай бұрын
Yes, fundamentally the slower your swing speed the more flex you need. Also loft becomes a factor again the slower the speed the more loft is required to achieve an optimal ball flight.
