Longest ski run in the World (Zermatt 2021)

The full 7 km ski run from Klein Matterhorn (3,883 m) to Trockener Steg (2,920 m), is the world´s longest ski run in summertime.

The video is from July 1st. Don't worry. Normally you can ski in september from Klein Matterhorn 3883m to 3400m. just below Plateau Rosa😀 If you are lucky, it will have snowed and you can ski to Trockner Steg 2939m.

Isn't it too flat? It looks like you need to struggle and ski totally straight in order to get speed.

It's only flat in the bottom or the last 10% of the skirun😉

Have you ever heard of Vallee Blanche ? Then visit before the short route from Klein Matterhorn to Trockener Steg winds up the longest route in the world ;P

Looks like fun, although it's not the longest run in the world. Not even close. The longest one is in Bansko, connecting 16 kilometers of different piste and ski roads, beginning on 2600 and ending in the village of Bansko at 920m asl.

Thanks for your input. Yes, Bansko has one of the longest ski runs in the world. And Bulgaria is a beautiful country. I climbed Musala in 2019, fantastic nature and mountain. My video was filmed in July and to my knowledge, the ski run between Klein Matterhorn and Trockner Steg, is the longest in summertime.

The "slope" from Bunderitsa to Bansko is 7km, and you can't call it a slope, the rest of the slopes, Balkaniada, Todorka, Tomba, Shiligarnic, Mosta, are less than 2 km long...Zermatt to Valtournenche is 21 km, from 3883 m to 1670 m...
