Brethren, BEWARE! Robby recommends a book by Eugene Peterson. Peterson wrote The Message Bible which is filled with all kinds of New Age terms. He also mentions David Platt, who preaches a social gospel. A little leaven leavens the whole lump. I was looking forward to following this whole series, but will have to gracefully walk away. I always listen with a "Berean's" ear, and when he joins up with and/or recommends false teachers, it is time to walk away.

Such truth...and error. Christ MASS is not a Christian celebration. Rome gave us Dec. 25 as birth of the SUN GOD. LET'S SETTLE THIS ONCE AND FOR ALL....

Where did he say Christmas is a Christian holiday? He did admit to celebrating Christmas with his family. Any time with family is probably not as bad as you want it to be.
