The question which has the answer 6:56 is actually wrong based on your computation. Because if 1200-504= 696= 7:36 if I'm not mistaken
@amarajoachim18136 жыл бұрын
hi 6:56 is actually correct because: 1. if you use regular time then it is 12:00 subtract 5:04 (as in 5 hours and 4 minutes) and you get 6:56. 2. the 24 hour clock you used was incorrect because 12 noon is 2400 hours not 1200 hours. So once you say 2400 subtract 504, then you get 1856 which, in regular time, is 6:56. i hoped this helped you to understand why the answer was correct👌👍👍😁 bye have a great day!

it is very easy to get the east and west times if you know greenwich time. can you able to know the greenwich time based on local time?
@Sylrina16 жыл бұрын
YES! once you know the difference in time then you can calculate the time @ Greenwich. For example, If it is 3 pm at country X located at 30 degrees east the time at Greenwich would be 1 pm because country X would be 2 hours ahead.

why places at east of prime meridian be ahead of time ?
@Sylrina16 жыл бұрын
That is because the sun rises in the east, therefore, places that are located east of the Prime or Greenwich Meridian will see the sun first. For example, if you are Australia or India the date would be July 19th while its almost midnight in Dubai and its almost 11 pm in London (GMT) and 4pm July in New York (West), and the date is still July 18th. Needless to say, the further east a place is located, the further ahead of time that place will be. conversely, The further west a place is located, the time will be much later. I really hope this helps
