Just bought a 2018 edge sport with all options. This video explained everything my sales person did not. Felt my salesperson did not know much about the car. I asked 2 questions and he ran over to google them to get me the answers. I think all sales people should know the products they are selling. Hi Tim ,thank you for responding back to my questions on the 2018 Ford Edge sport all wheel drive . I do appreciate your videos and support you give to your viewers. I would like to share my experiences with you on this vehicle that I just purchased.i was pleased to wake up to 6" of snow so I could take my Edge sport all wheel drive out in it to see how well it would drive in the deep snow . Well I sure was impressed with the traction and control it has in the snow . I feel confident about this vehicle and how it handles in the snow .this i so much better then just front wheel drive and you don't get the torque pull to one side in the steering from the drive wheel that has traction . All-wheel drive feature is my favorite along with all the safety features this model has . Thank you again Tim

Thanks so much for the awesome A-1 review of the 2018 Sport. Also, the very informative explanations of all of the features. Due to the outrageous inflation going on, the wife and I are going to downsize to one vehicle. Our local Ford dealer has a 2018 Ford Edge Sport with very low mileage and a ton of extra options. We are both retired and on a fixed income and this should free up the much needed extra funds. The two vehicles we are trading in are a 2012 Ford F-150 Lariat and a 2010 Mustang GT Premium. Both vehicles are in great shape with low mileage. Thanks so much again, as you are certainly a seasoned pro and excellent at your profession. Best of luck with your future endeavors.

Have a question about the automatic lourves controlling the air flow. How will they work in very freezing ice rain when the lourves are frozen ?

I don't believe FordPass Connect was available until 2019.

At one point in the video you said the wheels were 20", then later you said they were 21", or did I miss something - no time to rerun the whole thing. QUESTION? Will the 20"/21" wheels on the SPORT trim, fit on the SE trim? Overall great info - thanks!

20" are standard but you can get an optional 21" wheel. You can get the 20" wheels to work on the SE trim if you want. You would need to order them through the Ford dealer parts department as they are not an optional equipment from the factory.

Great Video I took allot of notes... have a 2014 Escape as my daily driver but thinking I need something a little bigger, so rented a Edge this weekend and put 480 miles on it.. we are sold on the Edge now just holding out for the ST to see what that is all about especially the 8 Speed Trans hoping it gives a few more MPG at the upper end. As we get closer will touch base with you and or your dealership to see what you can work out for me.

I didn't hear you mention if the mirrors auto fold in when parking . Do the seats have 10 way adjustable seating on both passenger and driver . What is the noise des inside the cab while driving . You should do a road test drive . How does it handle in the snow and ice ? Thanks for the video on all the models you sell

The mirrors don't autofold while parking. Both seats have 10 way power seats. Active Noise Control works like noise cancelling headphones with acoustic laminate windshield and front side windows will make it pretty quiet. It does drive pretty well in snow with the awd and adaptive steering. Nothing drives well on ice. I would like to do some test drive videos, I just don't have the time.

I just wanted to say that this is a great video! Very informative! I used to have a 2012 Edge Sport, then switched out to a convertible car, and am looking to get back into a midsize SUV. The 2018 Ford Edge is a possibility along with the Jaguar F-pace and the BMW X3. I am having a hard time justifying the larger price of the "luxury" vehicles ($10-15k more for similar options) if you do direct comparisons of the 3 vehicles. Can you tell me the differences I might expect since my 2012 Edge? Also, what will the 2019 Edge bring... should I wait for it? Thanks in advance and again, your video has really moved my considering of the Edge up in the pecking order of possibilities. And with the free shipping- thats definitely a possibility for me to use you!

Do you know if adaptive cruise, heated steering wheel, and my color (ambient lighting) were available on a 15 sport?. My wife and I are looking at used Edge Sports.

Ambient Lighting was standard on all Sports, Adaptive Cruise was part of the Driver Assist Package which was available on the 401A equipment group (you would know if it had this group if it has heated/cooled front seats), and heated steering wheel was not available in 2015 model.

I have experienced a car years back that had an auto up antenna also the headlights rotated upward when turned on. And both features did not work in frozen conditions. I do not like anything on the outside of a vehicle that is electric for that reason.
