Hello. I have purchased a universal audio volt 476p and want to use it for live performances as well. I have a connection problem. I need to connect a trumpet, a keyboard, a microphone to the interface and I have an iPad where I play the backing tracks, but I also need to use a mixer. So when I use the front inputs that come directly from the instruments and microphones and I use the outputs that then go to the mixer, only the two monitor outputs work, which are the first two channels that I connect to the mixer. The other outputs do not. Please can you help me with that kind of connection? Thanks

You need to assign the outputs in the software. This video should help: kzbin.info/www/bejne/Z6i9h5Wsjd2Cg7M

Hi I wanted to buy volt 4 and wanted to connect keyboard ( line inputs 3 and 4 ) as well as the mic for vocals for live ..But it has been told that there isn’t much gain on mic inputs 3 and 4....so can please clarify this....

To clarify, there is NO gain on "mic inputs 3 and 4" because inputs 3 and 4 are line level inputs, not microphone inputs. There is no mic preamp on inputs 3 and 4. Inputs 1 and 2 on the front have a mic preamp, as well as a 1/4" input. So to plug a mic and keyboard into the Volt 4, you'd plug your mic into 1 or 2 on the front of the Volt and use the gain knob to adjust the level of the mic, and plug your keyboard outputs into line inputs 3 and 4 on the back of the Volt.

@@longandmcquade Thank you so much ...but will the line inputs 3 and 4 are sufficient to record my keyboard at its best..
@longandmcquade Жыл бұрын
@@rajeshk8823 Yes, that's precisely what inputs 3 and 4 are designed to do, record line-level signals which your keyboard is.

Hello )) Please tell me if this volt 2 has a loopback function ?? is it possible to record two electric guitars in this device at the same time? ....google translator, sorry)....

UA has teased the possibility of adding loopback functionality in a future update, but so far nothing official has been released. But yes, it's absolutely possible to record two electric guitars at the same time with the Volt 2. Inputs 1 and 2 on the front of the unit are combi inputs for XLR and TRS/TS, so you can plug your guitars directly into the 1/4" inputs on the front of the units and press the INST button which will light up green. You can use the Marshall Plexi Classic Amp Bundle included with the Volt 2.
