No f…kin auto tune here. And I recall this song almost didn’t happen. The band were in a bad car accident not long before and the lead singer, Crispin was in a coma for a while. Then Electra records folded. So They lost all opportunities. Then the band U2, knowing they were highly talented, came and signed them to their label. Saved them.. And got the album The Sun Is Often Out by 1996, with this song on it. And the rest is history. What’s undeniable, this band were authentic talent. No auto tune sh.t.

Looking back, TotP was a dead man walking. Trying to shoehorn in every genre to please everyone. As soon as the internet broke, it was dead. Great performance from the 'pigs!

It was a chart show originally and worked ok until people's tastes became more refined/niche. Ultimately, the Internet coped better with the change... or maybe caused it.
