To get the 'best' ending here, you need not only to beat the game on Hard, but also getting all the UNCOLA letters from bonus levels. However it's not that rewarding, since it's just a 'Say Cheese!' screen where kids back then could get their picture taken with that screen as background.

🎮 Comment This version has a few enhancements compared to the Genesis original. I still prefere the Genesis version though, because of the music. Tommy Tallarico just knows how to use the Yamaha Soundchip properly. I find the Megadrive version to be just as good as the Super Nintendo version but I prefer the Master system version which is easier.

To be fair, you have to have a very high IQ to understand Cool Spot. The humour is extremely subtle, and without a solid grasp of theoretical physics most of the jokes will go over a typical viewer's head. There's also Spot's nihilistic outlook, which is deftly woven into his characterisation- his personal philosophy draws heavily from 7-UP literature, for instance. The fans understand this stuff; they have the intellectual capacity to truly appreciate the depths of these jokes, to realise that they're not just funny- they say something deep about LIFE. As a consequence people who dislike Cool Spot truly ARE idiots- of course they wouldn't appreciate, for instance, the humour in Spot's existential catchphrase *snap*, which itself is a cryptic reference to Coca Cola's Russian epic Fathers and Soda. I'm smirking right now just imagining one of those addlepated simpletons scratching their heads in confusion as 7-UP's genius wit unfolds itself on their television screens. What fools.. how I pity them. 😂 And yes, by the way, i DO have a Cool Spot tattoo. And no, you cannot see it. It's for the ladies' eyes only- and even then they have to demonstrate that they're within 5 IQ points of my own (preferably lower) beforehand. Nothin personnel kid 😎
