the story here is Eggman replaced Sonic's speed shoes with ones that slow him down.

He somehow used the chaos emeralds to make these shoes. Of course,sonic realized the difference in these shoes right away,but he only realized eggman made them was because the narcissistic bastard put his logo on the bottoms of the shoes. So sonic has to enter the labyrinth (which is eggmanland by the way. Not joking. Look it up.) Get the chaos emeralds,and defeat eggman.

🎮 Comment A rather weird Sonic game that breaks with old habits. Most noticable: You cannot Jump! Just spindash through the levels. You need to collect keys to open the exit. Controls are, well… you get used to them eventually.

I tried this one on a Sonic game compilation on the Gamecube(or is it the PS2, i’m not sure anymore). It’s not the best Sonic game i’ve tried. And i had trouble with the controls. I finally gave up.
