I grew up on the PC version of this game. In my opinion (and this may be controversial to some) I think this is the best Spider Man game of all time. (yes even over the PS4 one, I have that many good memories of this) From discovering the benefits to invisible spidey and pushing unsuspecting lizards off a train, to just random memories. I would later play the Playstation version on emulator not that long ago. I think everything about this game is gold. My favorite levels include everything in the last chunk of the game. This is probably on my top 3 favorite games. Thanks so much for doing this, especially as it is my favorite game (or one of them) and I have so many good memories of it!

The PS1 game that introduced me to Spider Man as a kid, and he became my favorite superhero since. Still have the disc. Definitely the best Spidey game! I remember playing through the game on Kid Mode difficulty and then trying it on Hard, and, MAN, did the challenge change completely, as the game is tough even on Normal (good luck fighting Venom/Carnage on Hard, too)! The instruction manual wasn't kidding about saying it is for extreme players. But I did eventually beat it 100% and the Captain Universe suit was worth it. The What If mode is fun, too. Oh, the Monster Ock final boss, I'm probably the only person who was never scared of him. I like how when Carnage pulled Peter up to him, like the Eeveelution Sylveon. Lol And hearing Stan Lee himself, RIP.

ah the classics. Some may say it had some corny lines. I for one felt it rally caputred the diffrent times of the comics ina video game from a new time. Action, actinga nd more. The fact that many actors here would become the greatest is an even bigger legacy My favorite line has to be 33:57-34:05

I find the controls in this game to be infuriating. Particularly the fact that you can only turn in 45 degree increments. It makes it impossible to properly line up jumps, or run along narrow beams without falling off. I gave up trying to complete any of the timed challenges because I was literally screaming at the screen in frustration. I also hate the fact that to perform any of the web attacks, you have to press the button and a direction at exactly the same time. I can't count the number of times I fell off a ledge while trying to shoot web balls at something. Oh, and the stupid mid-level cutscene in the Catch Venom level that seems to screw up on every platform I've tried it on. Plus, I played the Windows version on a system that was more advanced than it was designed for, which caused a sh*t-ton of bugs, most of which Activision knew about, but never bothered to patch.

You do not get it, you haven't even tried it. Atleast this game doesn't have long ass cutscenes and shitty repetetive gameplay, it always had something new to offer each chapter
