I'm so glad to finally get to post this. Mario Galaxy was one of the few Wii games I always wanted to own but simply couldn't afford when it initially got released. It's *the most* anticipated Wii title for me that I couldn't wait to delve into once I started cracking at the Wii library.. and man was it worth it. The stage variety in this game is of levels I've never seen before. You can tell Nintendo really went out of their way to make every single one of the 120 stars unique and entertaining to obtain. Even the usual "100 coin" stars are now "100 purple coin" stars and are very different from the previous games. Yes, I know, I'm literally 15 years late to this game and I bet everybody and their family already played it but give me a moment to put down my appreciation for this title nonetheless. I'll spare you the entire essay on what I like about this game, but let's just say I had a really fun time playing this. Would I care to play it again? Perhaps not so much. The game offers you that possibility though, as you get the chance to play as Luigi after you've collected all 120 stars as Mario... what happens if you get all 120 stars again with Luigi? Well, you get access to the Grand Finale which most people don't seem to know about. I made sure to put it at the end of the video. It's the 121th star and.. it was already obtained because I downloaded a save file for it (sorry, couldn't be bothered to do the game twice as I said). Not that it matters much, as you still get to see me collect the grey version of the star. Lastly, since the KZbin chapters don't work when you put more than a 100 timecodes in, they don't appear here. You can find every single star in the description though. Took me about two hours to write, lol (if you're here early, you can see they aren't finished yet.. it's 4:14am!)

I played this game for so long one day with my cousin this his mom told us to stop and go outside and take a walk and all we did was walk around the neighborhood talking about this game and what we would do next lol until finally it has been long enough to where she would allow us to play again. Love this game. I can't wait for the next 3D Mario game (preferably where he doesn't shrink when attacked). They should make a pretty basic Mario game, with no particular theme really (like this game's space theme and Sunshine's tropical theme). Ooh, and it would be cool if Mario had a hammer to carry and fight with. That would be a good weapon against Bowser, whom I wouldn't mind have no special form or powers. Mmm, sometimes I get tired of Mario games with bizarre themes and forms, and just want a good, old regular game, if that makes sense...🤔😐

I guessing you grew appreciation on Super Mario 3d Land over time. It may have had a very safe theme and setting, but the gameplay was still top notch to have a fun adventure. (Plus that final bowser battle, or should I say Bowser run was one of the very best moments in Mario games.) I guess I should mind as well mention the New Super Mario bros series as those ones didn't also have a unique identity, but they're nice to play for short bursts or during one cozy Saturday morning.

@@jakebastian6726 So basically what I meant is that these games only have the normal, basic mario adventure type of setting that includes plot, worlds, atmosphere, characters, and levels without any addition of a more unique setting such a galaxy setting with a calm atmosphere and bittersweet story, a sunshine setting where a giant island with a unique culture is the entire adventure and an emphasis of taking care of the environment, a city setting that has real life humas, or a lake setting that has lots of cats. This is why I would say Super Mario 3D Land and NSMB games don't exactly have their own identity because they are deviating a lot from Super Mario Bros 1, 3, and DS rather than becoming so much more like Mario Galaxy, Mario Sunshine, or Odyssey.

Most are refurbished. Sealed games and consoles tend to be very expensive and rare lol. The refurbished ones work just fine though. All my stuff is second hand and comes from eBay
