Longplay of Super Monkey Ball 2 [NEW]

Okay here's Super Monkey Ball 2 once again! I really enjoy this game and it's one of my top recommendations for the console as I think it can be enjoyed by anybody. This sequel is a huge improvement over it's previous game, mostly because it allows you to play stages individually for as many times as you wish. As somebody who really enjoys the concept of Super Monkey Ball, I hated the fact that the original game would force you to restart the whole thing each time you lost all your lives. With this one, I think a lot of people are able to get through the end of the story mode. That isn't to say this game isn't difficult, because it is, and some of these stages can be infuriating, but with enough perseverance you'll definitely get there! This version also features more minigames than ever before. Almost half of this video is minigames. Some of them are great, others are alright. Lastly, one major difference between this upload and my old one is the inclusion of Challenge mode! Whilst most of the stages in that mode are just recycled from the story mode, it actually also features extra stages and bonus stages that are NOT part of the story mode and therefore totally unique! Honestly, I'm surprised this wasn't said to me for so long but here they are. For the record, the challenge mode plays very similarly to the first game. The only way to play the extra stages is to make it through all the other stages without losing a life. There's even a hidden Master Mode for the real professionals

By the way, as a little side note, if you choose Baby in Monkey Bowling, you get easier timing with the aiming and power.

I remember how me and my friend struggled to complete all the stages in this game. We did it. It was torture and it took a good while, but it was fun. Also, congratulations on being the only person who has complete footage of Monkey Shot in HD!

Yeah one of the major things I like about this game is being able to replay each stage individually until you finally beat it, unlike SMB1 where you have limited lives and gotta restart the whole thing if you lose too often

@@longplayarchive I'm not just talking about the story mode, we completed the entirety of challenge mode too. Even then, I think they give you checkpoints in challenge mode, so you don't have to start from the very beginning if you lose all your lives.
