This brings back the memories, and some tears! Me, and my stepfather, played this all the time together. He was an adult, but he was heavy into video games like me and my siblings. This Contra game helped us strengthened our bond. He’s gone now, but seeing this video of the game just makes me think about all those times when life was easier and a lot more happier…

I brought this out of the closet after at least two decades and called my brother over. We played on hard and we're still able to finish it. It was like no time had passed. BattleToads has entered the chat Hmm can't remember if its hard on snes like it is on nes or not. If not try Mystical Ninjas on snes on 2 player, fun and the difficulty spikes are halfway through, gets pretty hard. Can't remember if you can choose to play on hard mode, or if there even is an option to choose difficulty, but one to try for sure. This is coming from a guy who can solo contra 3 hard aswell as 2 player and think its just decent challenge. Also MN is another konami game from that golden era on snes.

The same old games we loved to play made on Unreal Engine would have thousand of stages because it has the memory capacity now. So cool! I would love to play this game with 500,000 stages.

Also to add to that unreal engine, (can be 4 or 5) yes and also do the same style like dbfighterz 2d while technically 3d look but more contra vibes and art style graphics. Also make it more blood and gore and explosions, doesn't have to be extreme but a definite visual queue like a splatter and great sound design would give it some extra effect, also explosions. Nuff said... Oh wait you said same details, well damn... yeah that would be great too.
