Very fun game for the Wii. One of the best things about it is probably how it supports GameCube controller input so you don't have to mess around with annoying motion controls. I do wish they added some better fighting dynamics to the 1 on 1 fights especially knowing the final part of the game only consists of battles like that, but nonetheless a good game to play through overall.

I can't believe it's been a long time since this game was released. What's so funny is that the Red Ribbon Army has been given names in Color or Jewelry/Gems.

Goku: The Dragon Ball Saga. It’s the story of when I was a kid. Ahhh… nostalgic battles! Goku (Kid): Hey! I’m Goku. Goku: Huh? I’m also called Goku. You look just like me when I was a kid. Goku (Kid): I’m looking for the Dragon Balls. Goku: Funny, I was looking for Dragon Balls too when I was your age. Goku (Kid): You’re looking for them, too? Then lets make it a game. I won’t lose! See ya! *enters* Goku (Kid): Hey! Many strong fighters will appear here. That guy Nam is pretty strong. But I won’t lose. Right, I’ve got to do my best. The first time Goku participated in the World Tournament he confronted Nam, a fighter who was ordered to buy and bring back water to his village. Nam rushed a composed Goku and attacked with a massive special attack. Goku (Kid): I did it! It looks like there’s a new battle. It looks like an incredibly strong guy is coming. I’m getting excited. Goku arrives at the Penguin Village following General Blue, who stole the Dragon Balls. There Goku meets a mysterious girl. General Blue arrives and tries to take the girl hostage but… Goku (Kid): There’s no way I’m gonna lose to an evil guy like Mercenary Tao! Mercenary Tao, from the Red Ribbon Army, appears before Goku, who’s busy gathering the Dragon Balls. Goku, who had only lost one fight and has powered up at Korin’s Tower, fights the strongest mercenary once again. Goku (Kid): It’s a showdown between me and Piccolo. I can’t die yet. I have to defeat you! One part of Pilaf’s plan for world conquest is the revival of King Piccolo. Since a lot of his friends were killed by Piccolo, an angry Goku heads for King Castle. Goku and King Piccolo clash. Finally, the last deciding battle has begun. Goku (Kid): I’m not ready for the world yet. It’s filled with strong people. If I don’t get much stronger… I will get stronger! Yeah! Goku: Wow. He’s energetic. I get it. He’s me from the past. Now that I think about it, I did fight a lot of guys. But it doesn’t look like I changed much since then. I still want to fight against strong opponents. Anyways you’re awesome! You’ve come so far! There were many battles, but it looks like this is the end. Let’s fight together again one day! Well, see ya! Since Goku was here it was fun. Everyone liked Goku. Thank you Goku. His honest desire to become stronger has saved the Earth many times.
