Harry Potter 1 and 2 games, especially Playstation 1 and 2 versions, had this wholesome special "magic" feeling in them that you just cant find in games nowadays anymore . I have one of the best memories related to videogaming from those games. For me those games are emotional milestones, like the games Gothic 1 and 2 on PC.

I just found HP 1,2, and 3 in my Gamecube collection. Just plugged in my Wii so I could get the digital signal, and am going to fully play these games! I only played 15% of Philosophers Stone, and like 5% each of CoS and Azk. I think I'll appreciate the games a bit more now that I'm older. Wish I could stream, but there are many out there to watch! These videos made me go searching for my old games! So glad I found them!!! I also found Harry Potter: Quidditch World Cup! Graphics aren't what they are today, but at least I have them!

I often wonder how awesome the game would have been if they used the eurocom engine from Chamber of Secrets to make this game for the GC version. I like this game, there is a lot more things to do and more close to the storyline but its kind of rough around the edges. Thats why I still go back to CoS more often

Holy, that voice acting. I guess Ron's actor couldn't reprise his role because his voice is already too deep for- wait, that makes no sense. He did actually play Ron's voice in the PC and PS1 versions, too. So what stopped them from bringing him back for this "remake"? Oh well, I must admit the GameCube/Xbox version of Chamber of Secrets is nowhere as epic as the PS2 version, because so many things work on that version which are otherwise non-functional in the other two ones. 27:05 So why could Hermione give her own house points when Harry manages the Alohomora spell tracing?

I'm not sure it depend's on where you live the gamestop near where I live doesn't have any games for gamecubes but they rarely sell some gamecubes. If you are looking for gamecube games they can be found online on amazon but if you mean Harry potter games in general then it's possible that they do have it.

look on ebay if you're lucky it wont cost you more than 2 $ I found my copy for 1 euro. It's also available on xbox as well as PS2 (all versions are nearly identical PS2 version just runs the worst and looks a bit more iffy)

I think I got stuck with some potions I needed - I still have it along with my Gamecube although at this point it is better to run it as ROM

This game was released one year after Chamber of Secrets, in 2003. CoS was released in 2002. Thats why they changed the ghosts, probably after they understood how the ghosts couldnt be interacted with. For the second game (this one) they used the same engine as the CoS ps2 version.

I believe not. At least not something I’d suspect to to happen to the average player. The large objectives in the game basically award Gryffindor with loads of points that ultimately puts you first place. The challenge shields are more of a bonus
