No you didn't imagine it. The arcade intro showed them undercover as the food truck "Alien Burgers" but when they got the call, they closed up and "Burgers" became "Busters".

This game is not bad for a beat em up. I never could reach the end. The high score screen actually shows the infamous "Genesis Does!" slogan.
