@0:42 it appears the comb/adjustable cheek weld has both vertical & horizontal travel. Giving the shooter some horizontal "cast off" will allow a more vertical head alignment straight behind the scope. This will utilize the optimum visual acuity portion of the eye AND reduce neck stress staying-in-the-gun awaiting the shot plus allow easier breathing and thus improve oxygenation of the brain/eyes.

YEs I believe so. I have not studied this chassis in depth, but I found it to be the most interesting present at this match. He has sourced a lot of information from climbing equipment (ligt & life-dependable strong)

Interesting. And now the simpleton question: if I understood correctly you use the old military Swedish/Norwegian calibre, the 6.5x55. Do you have any opinion on the (Finish?) .338 Lapua ?

Yes the old 6,5x55 completely dominates sports shooting here with probably >90% of shooters using it. The 338 LM is a good cartridge, shoots well, and inside it's nice (hit hard at range) it is excellent. If you're only interested in "hit at range" there are now several 30, 7mm and even 6.5mm that have closed the gap to the winddrift abilities that previously only the .338 bullets had.

Check the older videos - Thomas had a .338 Lapua but it doesn't really provide any advantage if you add cost and recoil to the equation. Wind drift and drop isn't everything.
