Two defeated double tap'd missiles... they could smell the Viper but no legs to reach you. Great defense once again, LongShot !

This is the modern version of two tribes throwing spears at each other from behind a mound. They run out from the group to get close enough to the other side to throw their spears at the enemy then they run back as fast as possible to I get away from the other side throwing their spears. We’re just throwing faster spears and rocks with better aiming systems. Lol.

The ROC Air Force has upgraded their F-16 A/B into the block 72 variant. Does DCS has the F-16 block 72 mod?

As far as I know, DCS currently has the block 50

If you guys are going to continue to do BVR fights and strike missions, can you guys make it more dynamic…such as PMC jet or PMC AWACS..fuel conservation..a possible ID matrix?? in a perfect world you’d have a great Intel shop that lets you know exactly who’s flying and exactly what missiles they’re carrying..in real life hopefully.

He double-tapped you twice, what happened to those second missiles? That would seem to be a good strategy, you think you’ve defeated it, only to recommit into the second.
@SeaWasp3 ай бұрын
I would reckon the separation between the double tap wasn't significant enough - ie: defending from one would defend from the other as well. If he gave a couple seconds between launches, it would be like you defended the first and recommit face-first into the second. Just a guess... I can't play DCS with my current computer
@TankandDimples3 ай бұрын
Double tap doesn't matter if you defend until there is no tone...you recommit only after tone is gone.
@SeaWasp3 ай бұрын
@@TankandDimples Fair enough. It's also worth noting the visual indicator flashes without a beep, too, and doesn't really differentiate between whether one or two were fired from the air (RWR would have something to say, I guess). I was thinking that because I've seen GS do the same, but space out his launches, it might alter the paths the missiles take, and may catch the bandit by surprise.

When you speak of distance, do you use nautical miles (=1852m) or the miles used on land (1609m)? I don't think you use geographical miles (7215m), right?
@germantomcat3 ай бұрын
It‘s always nautical miles if it‘s about planes. Planes developed from boats
@ralfhtg10563 ай бұрын
@@germantomcat thx for explaining. I already had my suspicion. But wasn't quite sure.
