In this DCS World Simulator video I'm in the SU30 Flanker need to take don an enemy AWACS and fight his escort made of 2 F15 Eagles, one of them is flown by Echo6 , Thanks for the help buddy. Hope you guys enjoy!

I love playing simulators, I started with Arma 3 and then I saw DCS World. I also enjoy War Thunder , Battlefield , Ghost recon, Squad , Rome total war, Microsoft Flight Simulator and more. I also enjoy World War II games including il-2 In DCS World i found all the jets that i wanted to fly in a simulator the F 16 Viper , FA 18 Hornet , F 15 Eagle , A 10 Warthog , SU 27 , Mig 29 , P 51 , Spitfire , AH 64 Apeche , Heuy and more... And if you will download MODs the options are endless: F 22 Raptor, SU 57 , A 4 Skyhawk , SR 71 Blackbird , Rafale, Gripen and the list goes on.

​@@InkTattooHyena but the su33 is a heavy plane because they had to reinfor e the airframe for carrier landing. Which is why it needs the canard. Take the su37 instead.

So IRL, and DCS does not moddel this, those AWACS and the F 35 have towable jammer/decoys. Probably makes shots like that very hard and unlikely to land I suspect. The pilots really like them. Also how difficult if those F15's are firing say, MAKO's? When it comes to defending against this kind of ambush, I think the escorts begin pushing out much sooner given the ranges involved too.

@@90whatever True. Although they're looking at using them for anti-ship missiles, also. The US doesn't currently have any air-to-air missiles that stay hypersonic through the terminal phase, but I wouldn't be surprised if they adapt the MAKO for that role eventually.

@@90whatever I thought they had an AA mode as well? If not, substitute with AIM260 as there are rumors some Raptor squadrons have those already.

@@jeremygair4007 Could be…not sure, I only saw air to ground mentioned. My oldest is finishing up Navy pilot training and will be assigned to the P-8 which is supposed to be getting the Mako missiles at some point…only reason I knew anything. Now the AIM-260 is a whole other animal and yeah, it’s a game changer with the range, very advanced seeker, secondary motor, etc.

Amazing job doing two vs one! you know who could take on the su 30 with that missile ?(sidenote:is that one of the r77 variants that comes with the awesome su30 mod? I know there is a R27 EA, but I think here you said r77EA, which is not one of the many variants in the mod?? ) And also take on the eagles, even with aim 260s, at the same time? RVV-AE-PD they designed it in the 1990s, never went into production, but instead sold the technology to the english/french for the cash. it's what the meteor missiles ramjets were based on. search: Post Cold War Air to Air Missile evolution ausairpower

@@princeonyechie Can it control its speed like the Meteor and do the Russians have any in service? All of hype has been about the R-37 and R-77-1. If the Russians rollout ramjet powered fox threes in response to the F-16s arriving in Ukraine, those Vipers could be in more serious trouble.

@@Stinger522 The R-77PD was a 90s project, I've never heard anything about them being in service or even being operational missiles. The R-77ME is a newer variant but most likely not in actual service yet. But i cant say anything for certain since there's pretty close to 0 information on that, at least i wasn't able to find anything.

I like your videos usually but this one is just not realistic at all... 1, I highly doubt that the escort would be so close to Awacs... 2, the escort would have been vectored on to you long before you were in range.... 3, if you were able to sneek up on the Awacs the escort would have split up to get you in a pincer movement
