I love playing simulators, I started with Arma 3 and then I saw DCS World. I also enjoy War Thunder , Battlefield , Ghost recon, Squad , Rome total war, Microsoft Flight Simulator and more. I also enjoy World War II games including il-2 In DCS World i found all the jets that i wanted to fly in a simulator the F 16 Viper , FA 18 Hornet , F 15 Eagle , A 10 Warthog , SU 27 , Mig 29 , P 51 , Spitfire , AH 64 Apeche , Heuy and more... And if you will download MODs the options are endless: F 22 Raptor, SU 57 , A 4 Skyhawk , SR 71 Blackbird , Rafale, Gripen and the list goes on.

@@zacharypump5910 I bought it two weeks ago, I think I'll be learning all the systems for the foreseeable future and before I really, really understand the systems fundamentally, we will probably have heard something. I think and hope the F15 will see some development one way or the other. Flying it now is still an amazing feeling and all I do is long flights and so air to ground. So it really depends on what you want to do as well. I love the range on the thing for now. 36k LBS of fuel vs 12k on the F16.. If you dig a little, there are amazing posts on the ED forums where people have made very nice curated lists of what's missing and what's not.

It truly is a shame, just remember that some of the small issues facing the plane right now have and seem to be getting patched by the community! No official support though! Case in point, there was a bug where the radar would not work, a community patch came out as a mod to fix the issue, months later it was corrected by RB in an official patch

We've modified the F-15E as far as we can with harms, bombs and other munitions. I sure hope they are able to settle their issues and get this aircraft back on track. My favorite aircraft.

I think the problem for the tanker autopilot is that a physical data connector/line needs to be attached if you don't want to transmit commands wirelessly. That connection is harder, as a lot of pins need to be connected, along with the main boom. I absolutely LOVE this idea, and as an engineering student, I will work on it...

The strike eagle never performed any SEAD. It simply isn't part of its mission set. Not sure about cruise missiles, but things like HARMs have never been employed by the strike eagle.

@@zacharypump5910 No, everything is manually managed/managed by onboard sensors and the radar is extremely deeply modelled compared to most other modules so it's quite task intensive. A good WSO working the radar is a godsend.
