Superbly done, thank you. Dresden is still a beautiful suburb of the city. I didn't know that the Lord John Russell had been demolished.

Bloody brilliant bit of editing Adrian. Full marks! I've done a little bit of this myself quite some years ago but nowhere near the level of detail and accuracy you have produced here... absolutely brilliant mate. Keep it up, we need more.

Nicely done, Adrian :thumbs up: Given that the family name is so evident in the area it is inevitable that we are related I suspect :)

This is brilliant. Desden, and the Park area, always had the old charm and felt like a step back in time. Many a day has been spent in the Park and around the pond and band-stand. Its a shame Longton, like all our towns, has been left to ruin. Reminiscent of a bomb site.

I’ve got to ask Does anyone know what happened to the FERODO sign on the bridge as I always imagined it ending up in some millionaires garden That alone just reminds me of my childhood

This is pretty good as the photos are an exact match, but the transition is a bit irritating because its not linear, you can't focus on either before or after whilst its going on. I get it that its supposed to be like a celluloid burning, but I think a general fade would be better so you could see the transition take effect clearly. Beyond that, maybe its just me, but it appears that there used to be more people using the streets in the past. Where are they now? Cowering at home in case they are mugged? Where is Stoke on Trent anyway? I assume its not in London? You should state that so people know straight off these are shots from the middle of nowhere. I see you have done quite a few more, so well done, they are quite good other than the transition, which I guess you really like and the fact that 99% of people probably don't know where Stoke is. Why not do some London ones so they are more relevant to British people as most people live in London now and will be familiar with the places. Also, you should make it clear which is the before and after as I might imagine you are showing shots of places as they are today, grey and faded, transitioning into what they once were, bright and full of colour.
