Longtown castle.

A motte and bailey castle was built here by Walter de Lacy on an earlier Roman fort.

Now it's not that long ago the you could get to the keep, a great shame if you can't as it's most interesting being a typical border round great tower. EH seem to being excelling themselves in not looking after there charges. Another fine video my freind.
