Fulfilling my self inflicted obligation of informing people of the joy of custom quality mods! It’s one of the easiest mods to make, since you only need to modify items_metadata.xml. I highly recommend it! Any time you and the game disagree on the quality of an item (especially easy to see with EID), you just open notepad, change the value and hit save. The end result is that you and the game will be on the same page on what items are good and bad, which makes Sacred Orb and Tainted Lost work the way it is described, and in general lets you be confident that when the game gives you good or bad items, it’s doing it on purpose instead of because of the dev’s opinions. It used to modify crafting recipes, but in the latest patch you can now set a craftquality for items, meaning you can modify the quality of the item itself without interfering with crafting recipes!
