I had the same surgery as Lonzo, an OCA transplant. I play division 1 basketball so it’s nice to know someone in the NBA is going through the same. It’s definitely been a long journey but I’m back to feeling like myself again

@@CertifiedShooterr it’s a cartilage transplant so I had a piece of cartilage get chipped off of my knee and had it replaced with someone who passed away and was a donor. I would say I feel close to how I did before I got injured despite some pain here and there. Knee surgery is no joke especially for basketball players. That being said I am further along in my recovery then anticipated and hope I can keep playing for a good 10 more years or so

Bulls lost their playmaker when Lonzo got injured. They relied on Demar’s isolation plays and Lavine’s random 3 point shots to keep them in games. No strategies. no playmaking. Just trying to survive games. I really hope Lonzo can be difference maker in their success this season and be healthy.
