besides from the fact that it's a hideous look. Watch makers spend 1000's of hours making design decisions to create balance and harmony within the piece, even when they add diamonds they're concerned it's done tastefully. Look at Piaget watches some cost 1 million dollars but they're well conceived pieces of art. This is like watching a madman try to shove as many diamonds as possible into every possible place he could find, it's a ridiculous approach. It reminds me of when I was 6 and some friends had markers and they had a gold color with some metalic property, so everything they made was always in gold color. their art was hideous because they couldn't understand the idea of balance. too much of a good thing...

I like trax but I'm also sure thier sourcing watches that originally not worth much ie: scratch up/ beat up, Frankenstein watches and only way to make money from these type of watches is pit diamonds since you have to drill holes anyways.. Like 32 - 40 k for a presidential iced out sounds cheap since a new plain jane cost almost that much or more. I remember when my buddy was selling watches at one point, they geg access to a whole saler at steep discount on luxury watches, he would flood them out and sell them for cheap. He told me the avg person who want ice out watches just for the looks. These watches will always have after market parts inside and that's why it cheaper but the buyer don't care becasje it's cheaper and looks the part, plus you lose alot of money re selling anyways. There fore why spend 50 k on one when you can get one around 20 k . Everything looks the same except the inside.

Im confused by your comment. You say the watches he sells are not worth much because they are beat up but then say they are cheaper than if they were new plane jane. I think you answered your own question. No one is going to sell a brand new bust down for the price of a retail plane jane. If you want a brand new watch bust down obviously trax will do that for you but it will cost more. Also they sometimes have aftermarket dials or bezels but even rolex lets you swap out dials officially and the original dials and bezels are not always suitable for setting diamonds in to. I can swap the bezel on my rolex between a aftermarket diamond bezel and the original fluted bezel in about 2 minutes. You have to be stupid or a millionaire to buy a brand new watch just to bust down. As long as the seller is not charging you for the price of a brand new plane jane + busting it down for an old beater that was bust down and refurbished.
