@@chiichan3774 Yeah it is what made this prank believable if very surprising which means that the prank works as intended. Which I think much more exciting and funny compared to the other one. Meanwhile I found "Miko is actually Suisei's producer" prank they did to Hajime and Raden extremely unbelievable. IIRC Hajime was the only ReGloss member which had fully figured out they were being pranked, while Raden had initially guessed it but kinda believed it after some reinforcement by staff (ending up with her lecturing MiComet lol).

Even fans know that they have their "stage mode", so seeing them backstage acting so different is, in a way, believable. We also don't know what expression they showed in this dokkiri, so it might feel more "real" from Ririka's POV.

@@chiichan3774 - I've given a lot of thought to possibilities like that, like, "How is it that every gen seems to get along so well"... and I've started to consider that they may have just gotten lucky with some of the earlier idols (which, IMO, explains why they stream/collab less frequently) but the more recent ones definitely seem to have personality traits that make it easy for them to get along. And, possibly, some of that might be due to (and this is pure speculation on my part), coaching new staff to regard their co-workers as just that, co-workers, and to never let personal feelings towards one another get in the way. Idols visiting each others homes is a bit of a hiccup in that theory, but you could also dismiss it as, "It's still on-the-job" stuff, though I don't know how comfortable I'd be letting my co-workers visit my home. Still, I prefer to think that the talents hired by Hololive just have that open, accepting personality and that it might even be a requirement to join the company. But, I also like to remind people that even if Hololive is, currently, the shining example of how a vtuber company should treat it's talent, I'm still not convinced they pay them fairly. Kiryu Coco has been graduated for at least 3 years, now, and even though she was one of the top earners, she still did that stream talking about how difficult it was to live month-to-month on what she was paid after KZbin took their cut, Hololive took their cut, and the Japanese government took out taxes (I won't call it government taking their cut because the argument against taxation is hysterically bad... there isn't a country standing that people would want to move to that has no taxes). For all they do and being as popular as they are, every talent in Hololive deserves to make enough money to live comfortably.

I did something similar to a new friend lmao. I invited him over to my place, to hang out and stuff, but we also hatched a little plan. My two other friends were gonna act like they absolutely hate each other, and they are very good at acting lol. I brought the new friend in, who I just have to add because this makes it so much funnier, he's the kind of cheery, I-want-to-lighten-the-mood kinda guy, so when I invited him into the deafeningly silent living room and my two friends are sitting at the edges of the couch, the atmosphere felt so goddamn heavy. I was also acting nervous like, "So um... yeah, these are the two other friends I talked about." I sat in an armchair leaving only the space between those two open, and the new friend had nowhere else to sit so he sat between the two. He started chatting with me cuz the two obviously were not interested, and we were talking very awkwardly and on one of the topic, one of the two threw a bit of shade at the other, and they went back and forth, their voice getting louder and louder until they stood up. New friend's face went pale and I looked away. I looked like I was scared but honestly I was holding my laughter lol. They grabbed each other's collar and the new friend stood up like trying to intervene, but I couldn't hold it in and laughed. They broke character and laughed too. Poor new friend was so scared lmao. We then properly started introducing ourselves and chatting. Happened a year ago, new friend is now close friend and the four of us often hang out together. Only problem is everyone has loud voices so we often feel self conscious when we go out lol. Good times, good times
