Honestly out of the whole team I real passion in Ronaldo wanting to get on the next plane out of Manchester, It makes sense why he is taking liberties faking family issues and walking out early , he has more money than the owners of the club he plays for and people joked about how he and his brand is bigger than Man Utd well the club is a skeleton of itself 10 years ago. Ronaldo could actually buy the club if he wanted to and I'm not talking about monthly payments either.

Passion? He took the Glazer’s money and said nothing. Why? He’s a two faced rat and it’s hilarious. Thirty years of laughing at Liverpool has come back to bite you all in your arses, you’re a third of the way to that length and you’re further away from the top four (never mind the top) than Liverpool ever were in that time.

Sure the league would be better if they were atleast half decent but united fans gave us (lfc fans) the "bigun" for those 25yrs and there "20 times chants" and "bindippers" BS... AND I'M LOVING IT! LONG MAY IT REIGN.... WE'RE BACK ON OUR PERCH SON! once we pass there 20 titles which an oil baron country owned club is THE ONLY THING stopping us FROM, which united have as there one happy grace. Liverpool are the "MOST SUCCESSFUL ENGLISH CLUB" IN ENGLISH HISTORY, the trophy count proves that..liverpool will surpass uniteds commercial success soon... They're both right. These players are shockingly underperforming and the owners have let things devolve to this level. Ultimately, United need to rebuild over a period of five years and be willing to get worse in the short-term for doing it but the media attention and the impatience of the supporters would make that very difficult.

Playing around horrific players Edit : People complain about how Ronaldo’s attitude has been poor yet he’s wasting the end of his career in a terrible club. He’s a born winner playing around useless players that have weak mentalities and let him down the whole of last season . Smh this actually hurts to see . He needs to leave immediately and go to actual contenders.

Spot on the point Gary was making. He sees the bigger picture. Unless the owner changes, and them bleeding the club dry, no advancement can be made throughout the club. You can buy massive good plyers and train the best but even those players will wither down and loose sense under poor management. Its a pity we can only witness this as a fan but cant do nothing about it.

if a restaurant or pub is failing it falls to the owner to change the direction of the business, Jaime seems to not understand this. The staff, chef, waiters, bartenders, everything, if you need better chefs, the owner needs to hire better chefs, if you need a skillful bartender who can make great cocktails then you need to hire one. United is basically like the glazers are hiring chefs who microwave the food, and they've got Dave from down the road pulling pints, most of the staff aren't qualified, and the management is terrible, that's all down to the owners.

I worked in a 4* hotel that was thriving and all employees were trained by the best. The director/owner was awesome. When he died, his children took over. But the hotel declined little by little even though it had the best employees on the island. Finally the hotel closed du to poor management. Gary is absolutely right here. There is something about United culture now that makes the players underperform. If a player like Sancho was transferred to Liverpool or ManCity in 21, he would had been among the best players in PL. I don't believe for a second that the player themselves are bad, or that the managers are not good or the facilities are not enough. But when everything is put together at the club, it all goes to a big mess somehow. Correcting these things independently isn't going to change anything.

As much as I agree with Gary & Jaimie, I cannot believe that a team consisting of first choice international players from England, Brazil, Portugal, Denmark can’t beat a team like Brentford which in all likelihood finish in the bottom half of the table. Both Pep & Klopp had slow starts in their first seasons. Time to back the manager and pay a premium price for players who probably wouldn’t cost as much because we screwed up in the market. Lastly Ten Hag should have fought to keep Ralf. Ralf would have been a great ally to Ten Hag.

The problem is performances like today aren’t on the owners and that’s what they’re talking about. Not winning anything for 10 years is on the owners but those players not being good enough to win the league doesn’t mean they shouldn’t be good enough to put up more of a fight then they’ve shown.

Gary -"will die for the club" as a player. Great comeback by Jamie. There are no desire in the current crop of players. When a lesser quality team does well it is the desire and determination that pushes them above their weight. That comes from recruitment and scouting of the right players. City realised that after a few years and got the Barca people in / Chelsea had Marina Granovskaia / Arsenal on track it seems with Edu. With Utd they often seem to do their transfer dealings in open public. Other teams often have leverage over them on fees. It is like playing poker with your cards faced up.

Jamie and Gary are both right. In the short term the players are not good enough and should be giving their all which they are not doing. However, over the past ten years the infrastructure around the club seems to bring in the wrong players prioritising financial gain over actual quality players. Arsenal for example have, over the last 2-3 years, been bringing in players that allow for a gradual shift towards what they are today. Making the Jesus signing is coming to the pinnacle of their rebuild, not someone they would look to sign at the start of it. That's where it looks like Man U get it wrong. They cannot just keep bringing in big names to make the fans happy. They need to start making smarter signings that actually change the mood around the club in the long run and not just a short-term hype.

Glad you use Arsenal as an example of something being done right, but remember we have years without winning PL (last time we got close was 6 years ago), 6 seasons without CL and nothing to show for in EL. Josh Kroenke said in the interview few weeks ago that they always had a plan, but the truth is we hated Kroenkes probably as much as United fans hate Glazers. Only, it seems, we were wrong Kroenkes however never took money out of the club, opposite: they spent a lot and it turns out wisely Im not gonna lie as Arsenal fan I cant be upset watching United being thrashed, but even if someone has a plan, it will take years before this plan starts bringing fruits. I think Neville is spot on: nothing to do with players, you have some of greatest names in England, yet they dont perform - the question is WHY?

Jamie is right. Regardless of the shambles off the pitch, you could play the youth team tomorrow who would try harder and follow their coaches plan than these players who have lost all their confidence. Neville is focusing on all of the off pitch issues which will take 5-10 years to rebuild stadiums and training facilities, even if the Glazers sold up tomorrow. Millions of people would give anything to be able to play professional football and would run their socks off for a wage packet of the average Utd player.

Bc neville knows the club inside out. We've seen the same patterns every year, LVG, Mourinho, Rangnick Moyes all saying the club isnt run right. There's so many times you can keep banging on players, we know the players are not good enough. The stadium, training facilities etc all need a rebuild because these owners haven't touched it once in 17 years, the club is still in debt that they used to buy the club, the money they do spend on players is generated by the club itself, they've hardly put their own money in, but have took millions out
