It's terrible how these movie people sometimes takes a real life good man's life and make him seem like a bad man just to make a movie - making him seem like everything from a woman beater, child molestor, or even a homosexual when he's actually none of those things. When I first saw this movie back in the 80s - I knew that Jimmy and I knew he was not like the out of control person they made him seem like in the movie. He was in fact the very man (Jimmy / James) they used his life and activities to make the first James Bond movie about.
