@wendyfay16

You don't need to use your good pure silk scarf, a cheap slippery satin scarf or pillow case cut down to cover your face and neck will do just as well and keep your silk scarf to wear and show off. Otherwise use an old worn out silk pillowcase. I wouldn't go back to using anything but silk pillowcases because they stop your hair from breaking off on cotton, and they also reduce wrinkles on your face. Silk scrunchies are also great for your ponytails for the same reason silk pillowcases don't damage your hair.

Eyelid tape "frequent user" here: Try positioning it a few millimeters higher, it'll work better! Lift your chin up to the ceiling, close your eyes, and feel where the top of your eyeball curves into the socket. Place the tape right ABOVE that line, and centered. That way it'll pick up the extra skin and make it fold onto itself, but the ends won't show.

What a great idea! I just assumed I was stuck w/deeply hooded eyes. Especially when after a major surgery (not facial) and 2 mos of Laser Scar tx to prevent the dreaded Keloid scars I always had, the technician said, "I think we know each other well enough now that I can recommend either plastic surgery or Laser tx to raise your hooded eyelids. I didn't want to hurt your feelings, but your eyesight is occluded by your lids enough to interfere with your vision. Medicare will even cover it!" Needless to say, I was shocked & intrigued! However, I was SO DONE with surgery by that time, I said I'd think abt it. Now, 2 yrs later, the eyelid tape sounds soooooo much better, I'll definitely give it a try!👍 Thank you, Thank you, Thank you! 👏👏😀❤️ Shirley ♾

I have the original ones , but these are a diff brand. Make sure your eyelid is free of any eye primer, eye cream, eye shadow, as they won't adhere. You also can't wear eyeshadow in that area after you apply. But maybe you won't need to use much eye makeup when your lids are lifted!. You def need patience with these. And if you are like me with the crease on one eye different than the other you will know what I mean. It's also hard to get them off the plastic without bending the end( my set came with tiny tweezers to pick them up off the plastic) I will attempt them again

Hi Erin, thanks for another great video! I do have one style tip. If you're out with people during the day and then decide to go out to dinner, I have a two minute hack for makeup. I carry magnetic lashes with me that you can just pop on in one minute, then follow up with a couple of coats of mascara. Then I carry an Artisan L'uxe Velvet eye pencil. It's a beautiful soft kohl pencil that comes in 5 different colors. You can do a beautiful smoky eye in 2 minutes. You look polished and have an evening look that you can do anywhere - even in the car. I think the bronze would be gorgeous on you.

I have a hack I just found on Amazon. I bought the same style Dean Davidson square ring as you, Erin. The problem is demi fine gold jewellery can't be sized and I was between sizes, even after trying the ring on different fingers. Well, problem solved! Amazon sells ring sizers. I chose the clear silicone ones, so they're not visible. They come in about 3" lengths and 3 different widths. What you do is spiral the little silicone "stick" around the back of your ring and cut off the excess. So easy and it works beautifully. It also helps you to get the ring off and on because the sizer is tubular, so the ring essentially rolls onto your finger. Very cheap, and seriously fantastic!

@@BusbeeStyle Also, you can use a mega- thin strip of fuzzy velcro stuck to the inside of the ring. After time, it even survives getting hands wet, although it can leave stickiness on the inside of the ring. I have several rings that are in between different finger sizes x

Amen & Amen! We moved to a ranch in a rural area 45+ years ago. It's close to 3 small towns with many now elderly people who've become friends. With an increasing number of funerals lately, the heel protectors will really save my heels. I've also worn nice wedges, even a pair that fell off my heels when our adult son was buried 3 yrs ago!! A day that's still painful to remember since, with a mental illness, he killed himself! 😥 (I can't believe I disclosed that to you!) With God's compassionate love & grace, we're learning to go on and live again! Living with grief is an ongoing process and may require and benefit from counseling (says the counselor😏)! Thank you for listening! Who would have thought "heel protectors" would be a trigger⁉️ ♥️ Shirley ♾

I found those eye lid lift stickies in an Asian mall dollar store in Sydney AUS several years ago - I must admit it took me a minute to figure out what they were for as there was no English on the packaging . I wondered if they would make it to north America but I haven't actually come across them . The hair tie waist extender trick I've been using for 20 years or more . I don't even remember where I learned it . Fortunately after a significant weight loss I don't think I'll be needing it anymore . It's always great to hear these tips !

Hi Erin….LOVE the chain extenders for necklaces. I’m going to be able to make so many great combinations with my jewelry.. I can’t wait 😀 I’ve gotta say, the heal covers were a bomb for me 👎🏻…I bought them for my son’s outdoor wedding several years ago and after getting my heals stuck in the ground several times (once needing help to steady me as I “gracefully” plucked them out)… the last time was the final straw and no lie..as far as I know they’re in the same spot I left them 😳😂

The struggle is real, Janice! My easiest tip is to use a tissue as a shield. I hold it firmly right at my hairline and blend my foundation right to the edge of the tissue. If any transfers upwards the tissue it gets onto the tissue and not your hair. Not foolproof, but works pretty well! xo

Start your foundation on the middle part of your face so that when you get to the hair edges, it’s much more sheer. If you get any in your hair edges, wet A Q-tip in water and dab the hairline. In a pinch, when the water doesn’t do it, I’ve used diluted hydrogen peroxide. I have platinum hair.

Have missed getting your weekly spot. I have a neat hack for jeans that I am not sure I told you about yet. The zipper wouldn't stay up, so I found a spare ring, like something from a key ring that was the right size to fit around the end of the zipper tab. Then, when I pull the zipper up, I slip he ring over the button and then close the button hole over it all and the jeans stay up.

I used to have an invisibelt too, no clue what happened to mine either? It did work pretty well though. I LOVE your “style hacks” videos! Little gems! One I have done in a pinch just recently, I cut out the waist on a pair of pantyhose to cinch this huge cotton maxi dress that I have. There must be better alternatives out there, hey maybe an invisibelt, but when you can’t plan for an ER style fixer, it worked like a charm, and I never wear hose anymore so nothing that I really needed to replace. Lol.💖 xoxo

I am apple shaped, so I love the Unbelt and Arcade belts (including men's designs) because they work so well without adding bulk and are comfortable. Silicone shoulder pads to hold bra straps in place and provide extra cushioning. Just be aware if you get moist they can slip. Buy "tall" size t-shirts and pullovers (I often purchase men's) if you are petite like me 5.4", and they work as tunic length. This has really helped me get the coverage I want in my crotch area, especially with leggings or athletic shorts .😳

1. Bra extenders have been around for 60 years 2. Use a large plastic coated paper clip for the Y bra strap 3. I had an extra link soldiered onto a fine chain that I wear all the time with my diamond drop, so that I can reduce the length of the chain when I want to wear it with the diamond in the little hole below my neck 4. I've had a pin soldiered onto the back of a couple of different pendants so that I can also wear them as brooches or pins on jackets, and also had a link added to a couple of brooches so that I can also wear them as pendants. 5. A heavy ring can also be used to put two corners of fine silk scarves into to give them a handy double duty 6. I have two solid gold, heavy link chains, one is shorter than the other. I had clips added to each end of the shorter chain so that I can wear them linked together as 2 different sizes, or I can wear them individually when I just want one long chain, one short chain, or one extra long chain. I forget the name of the links are that I bought for this purpose, but it certainly makes a huge difference to the way I can wear my chains. 7. To up-cycle a cheap plain button down dress, change the buttons. You can often buy outfits with great buttons from OpShops for less than buying buttons alone. You can often also change up a belt to give the dress or shirt a unique dress, or if there's enough length in the dress, cut a piece off the hem and sew that into a matching soft tie belt or sash. You can also cover basic plain buttons with a wide ribbon and use that same ribbon with a firmer backing and a buckle to match. Another unique outfit.

A cheaper "fix", is using an old pair of cotten panties (large enough to cover your head lightly). Put them lightly backwards 🥴 over your face & hair. Then pull your blouse or dress over your head. You might put your lips together to protect your lipstick! Weird, I know! (My sister & I inadvertently discovered we both did the same thing.😯) It's certainly NOT elegant like using a silk scarf, but it gets the job done! Whatever works‼️👍? 😏♥️ Shirley ♾

I watch Niki Sky too. Now I know use the extension to clasp a whole look of necklaces. Amazon! I love the magnetic ends to put on necklace with the magnetic ends to put on the necklaces saves time! Can get in jewlery making but they are not as strong as ones and worth every penny to spend a little more and get them necklace by necklace. I doubt they have them where I bought them. I cant wear pierced earrings so I have some magnetic hoops etc. and look like pierced also can use as a cuff on ear for multiple earrings. You can make a flower out of the hair tie, a model showed me how to do that and more. I wear my clothes and then an old thin robe over them to keep make up off. And there is hack to have long belt and sort of- knot them and have the extra hang down from behind belt. Ooooh those strips, I still cant do. I did see someone say using them at night and yes saw before and after, and mine are sitting in a make up drawer right now. They are not easy. I gave up. But also those good magnetic eyelashes not like the glue kind work great for hooded eye. I found out there are different types of hooded eye. Got to check into that thought I learned early in life its gentic for women in family- and the surgery does not last. but I can usually get rid of hooded eye. Thank You for another wonderful and fantastic and formative video. Also when have to use the hair tie to draw straps together and gives you cleaveage if you have none and if you want more. I like the girls lifted but not so much cleaveage as men tend to not look at your eyes. Who needs that? Dont want to be liked for body parts. Or have someone not know what you are even saying.
