want to go to vegas this summer. haven't been in years. I used to stay at Luxor or Mandalay Bay all the time. I hear they're a bit run down now, especially Luxor which is where I used to go the most. Any suggestions where to stay on the strip? Looking for something that is affordable (< $300 a night) that has a great pool setup, nice rooms, on the strip.... should I look at Cosmo, MGM Grand? I want to sit by the pool in the sun and relax during the day and gamble/entertainment/shows at night.... I am sure you can do that at any casino... but are there any specific recommendations here?

If you're looking for a great pool Cosmo or the MGM are both nice. If you don't mind being on Fremont, I recommend Circa.
