Yeah it looks like you could freeze frame that entrance and use the image as the cover of a Javert biography. But yeah, his appearance here with that top hat and coat alone emerging from a puff of smoke evokes all kinds of 19th century folklore from Sherlock Holmes to Jekyll and Hyde.

Two things with this video... 1. I disagree with how Thaxton handles the moment with the beggar woman after his first line...I feel that Enjolras would have given her something rather than just brush her off and walk away. (But he still is great) 2. Marius punching the gang member (Montparnesse I think) in the face made me crack up. Can't believe I didn't see that before haha.

Montparnasse is so hot! For all he acts all sleazy towards Eponine I sort of get the feeling that he really does have feelings for her i.e. when Thenardier pushes her towards him, he holds his arms out to catch her then after she struggles and pushes him away, he sort of gazes after her then turns to follow her when she runs past him again. I love how elegently the actor portrays him!

Speak those notes. Put emotion I to it so it makes sense and seems like a choice you made merely for the character. For example, when he says "the night that ends at last," you can shout "at last!" and present you voice to like, "OH MY GOSH ITS ITS FINALLY GOING TO END!!!" I did the same when I sang the low note "apart" in I Dreamed a Dream." Congrats on getting Enjolras! That's awesome!
