My favorite memory of science experiments as a kid was a simple one, but brings such a smile to my face. I loved dissolving an egg shell in vinegar. I would have multiple ones stashed around my moms kitchen growing up. My mom was so patient and generous with my little science mind!

Not exactly in the same style/format for history. But we really love TAN’s Story of Civilization for history.

You could do the early education as a stand alone! I would utilize the BFSU Facebook group in conjunction then to help with lesson planning

What are your thoughts on Scientific Connections Through Inquiry? How does it compare to this version of Nebels' method of teaching?

I actually haven’t tried SCI yet. We are going to be likely moving on to Nebel’s second book this summer. I am contemplating incorporating SCI with it. Or potentially just doing SCI, I can’t decide how much I want to take on for the planning. I love Nebel’s books but SCI sounds like it might be a better fit where we are currently with our twins and family life.
