Great box. We've just bought a livescribe pen, it saves all of our handwritten notes onto the app. I can then start working on the quote before my partner is even back from the job visit. Also makes it easier to find the notes at a later date. Can also record the whole job visit! So I listen to any suggestion or question that may not have been written down. Game changer for us!

Do you do many alcove shelves? Do you ever template stuff on-site or measure and draw it out?

I generally don't temple, I don't see any point. There are always trims you can use to take up any voids, I just check the width ans height in 3 or 4 places, and if anything looks mad out of level I'll check levels, bit other than that I don't see ant point to template 😁

Which hinges do you use Ryan, have you tried the Hafele soft close ?

Hi mate I use gtv soft close most of the time as I like their amount of adjustment but I've not tried the hafele version before

@@thelondoncraftsmanworkshop oh right never heard of them before, been getting a few tips from you lately , tried your method of fixing battens to the floor nice and level and it worked a treat much better than adjustable legs. Also make my shaker doors from 18 + 4mm mdf stuck with 2 part glue works well . I assume these hinges work with thicker doors? Cheers

Hi Richard, they aren't completely flat, but I'm sure I either got them from Hafele or ebay. Most likely hafele I'd imagine. I bought bulk a good few years ago and don't use them much but are handy on the occasion 👍👍
