It is so worth it! I just visited Holkham Hall in the East of England (close to the Royal’s Sandringham estate) dressed up with their “Christmas by candlelight” displays and it was SPECTACULAR! Still got Chatsworth House and Castle Howard to go before Christmas. These castles and stately homes decorated for Christmas are on another level of magic. Such a beautiful tradition!

At a Versailles hotel I was once able to visit the room where peace treaties of 1918 were signed. Unforgettable, so , if possible. Get ready for Windsor. Peaceful Christmas everybody 🎄🎄

In 1976 I visited with our high school band, London, Ireland and Scotland. How blessed I was, with a great mom and grandparents who ensured I was able to go, and enough money for a month worth of performances for the people, gifts to return for my family and a little new found freedom of a beautiful memory of so many wonderful places to include the cattle boat ride across the Irish Sea, Stonehenge, witness to the Crown Jewels, making my own brass rubbing, watching the Battle of the Bands on the top of Edinburg Castle, and a very unusual literal young man picking me out of the drill team to try to take me up and away. I wish I received at least his name! Now, blessed to watch the future King and Queen of England and their Children, grow up together as a strong, caring family to do their very best during their time on this planet. Love to the Middleton Family who made all dreams come true for a unique, precious daughter. A reflection of love , so warm and bright. God bless us all! 🌹🌹🌹
