I only met him recently, but I'm pretty sure he likes me. He texts back fast, he asks what I'm doing a lot, and today he asked if he could call me. No guy’s ever done that for me before, I’m not used to it. This morning he also hugged me and picked me up (he put his arms under mine and picked me up). I love being picked up, not a lot of people can do it (I'm not overweight, I'm just really tall and have an awkward body structure), so when someone CAN do it, it makes me feel tiny. I also love his hugs, they're so comfortable. Also another thing that happened was I accidently spilled apple juice on him yesterday morning and he just laughed, and wiped some on me. I'm glad he did that instead of making a big fuss because I have impending guilt for weeks after something bad happens. My friends think he likes me as well because of the way he hugged me, but the way people display affection confuses me so I can never be too sure. Even if he just stayed friends with me, I would not be upset. His presence calms me, and if we date, I’m scared I will lose him if we date. I’ve already lost too many people to that. I’ve honestly had a really bad week, and he’s the only thing that’s made me calm down. Especially with the fact that no one really likes to hang out with me. No one ever takes any action in my direction, but he does. It makes me so happy that I finally feel wanted. I never knew I could like someone this quickly. Edit: sorry to disappoint, but he was a player. he was talking to me, a few other girls, and was also DATING someone. HOWEVER I'm dating someone now and she's the best thing that has ever happened to me

@@soaps003oh my goodness i haven’t read this in so long and so much has changed. we broke up in september 2022. i waited until december. he said he was going to send me a letter. he never did. i was tired of waiting and so i messaged him on christmas saying i was going to be moving on if he didn’t want me. he responded within a minute saying that he wishes me the best. it hurt but i knew that God had a better plan for me. i had been healing so after i got my answer, it didn’t hurt as bad and i could move on. fast forward to january where i had class with this guy i had seen before and i thought he was so cute and just seemed to be such a sweet guy. one of my friends got intel about this guy and he checked all of my boxes. he asked me to be his partner for a project & i was so excited about it. so a few weeks later i asked him for his number and worst case scenario, i could’ve played it off like it was only for the project. i felt like he was maybe interested but i wasn’t sure. so after i had his number i texted him after class one day and said “hey sorry i was going to say this earlier but you looked really good today” and he responded “thanks! i think you look great everyday” and then i invited him to come over for a game night with my friends. the rest is history. in march, we’ll be dating for a year. gosh it was hard reading the original comment. i was such a mess. i don’t even recognize that version of me anymore. i was so fragile and scared of the world. he was not the person for me. we never communicated properly about issues. yes i had so many issues, but he was not perfect either. who i’m with now challenges me to become a better version of myself. whenever there’s an issue, we talk through it fully and it’s us against the problem instead of him vs me. we have disagreements but we figure things out. it’s crazy because we’ve gotten deeper in a year than more than any of my other relationships. i have never felt so secure but so much passion.
