I have watched this twice and I truly appreciate what stan solo is putting out in the star wars line .I wish he was as large as Kenner was .so they could be mast produced. Buy the time I buy on or two he is sold out. I enjoy that you keep us updated on what he is putting out thanks👍👍👍👍👍👍

Love watching your videos every Saturday morning with a bowl of cereal like when I was a kid LOL. I just got my R3-M3 and R4-M9 from Stan Solo. I missed out on a lot of the other Stan Solo Astromechs during my cancer treatment, but I’m back in the game. I’m glad there are different domes like the clear and now that triangle shaped dome, they indeed look like Kenner would have made them! Thanks GQ for another video!

Have to agree! Stan Solo is impossible for me to resist as an OG Kenner collector. Cards look amazing but I’m just gonna stick w loose! Save some coin. lol. Got two out of three of these. Missed R4. Love the new Luke Dagobah training from Stan Solo! Had to go w yellow saber option, as that seems right given the original ESB Luke from Kenner. Great stuff!

These are truly phenomenal! I just started my quest for all the OG’s a little while back, but Stan Solo is making it difficult not to try and pick those up along the way. Hey mate. Just done a video on it I’ve not uploaded. The Dowenger Queen was an interstellar colony ship that crashed on Tatooine in the distant past. The survivors built a township around the wrecked ship which grew to be Mos Eisley. The last piece of the ship was preserved as a memorial.

If he doesn't want me as a customer because I follow a YT creator he doesn't like, then I'll just find other, non-direct methods to buy his products.

That’s not a bad idea. With the Stan Solo stuff I usually have only 1 figure. With og Kenner, I prefer to leave the figures as they are. But when a crafty customizer does something cool with their paint apps, I love seeing that.

I wonder if it goes back to the Andrew Ainsworth stormtrooper High Court case where Lucas lost when the judge ruled that the costume was a utilitarian prop and not a work of art. Hence, anyone outside of the USA is now free to produce replica helmets etc. without a licence. I wonder if this extends to the toys. I’m assuming it does. Personally, I think these custom creators are doing the community a great service.

I paid £159 for a limited deadstock carded R3-M3 from Stan Solo. But, as we know, he never managed to get them from the factory, so he had a new mould created and started reproducing them... for £54. 'Don't worry', he says 'I'll throw in a "FREE" R3-T2 to those who ordered and have been waiting'. Another figure that retails at £54. So, THAT'S A DEFICIT OF £51 (all the while he's saying that he had been selling the deadstock M3 at only double the normal price). I didn't want a new-run M3 (or T3 for that matter), I wanted the original M3 I had paid £159 for. So, instead of harassing him and asking for a refund, I just sold the figures on eBay AT NO PROFIT when eBay fees are factored in, and of course he went balistic. Another customer lost. How on earth can he not see that £54 and £54 do not equal £159? And we were supposed to be grateful for the "free" figure! 😂
