Hi. I like your dress and PJ outfit. They both turned out very nice.

Thank you so much! The pjs were a pleasant surprise. :)

LOVE your "pajamas"... you're totally going to wear those, I know I would! And I have, definitely, used pj patterns for my tops and pants. Very well done! I don't know how you got all that sewing done, but I'm glad you did so you could share it with us! Haha the delivery guy shouldn't be stopping there if he isn't bringing you stuff, that's just cruel! just kidding, those guys work so hard, day and night in my neighborhood. During the summer, one of my neighbors leaves a cooler of soda out front for them (he gets a lot of deliveries, haha)! Way cool, amazing looking dress and outfit too!

Thank you so so much. I enjoyed making the pjs, and having a set to wear out ended up being a special surprise that I didn’t know I would get. Reading that you’ve used pj patterns for tops and bottoms made me smile. Now I will be doing the same. :) i got so excited when that Amazon truck was in front of my house. When he went across the street, I was deflated. It was like the air was let out of a balloon. 😂😂 Yes. They do work hard. I think that’s so nice that one of your neighbors leaves soda out for them. Awww. That is so kind. Thanks again.

LOL! I’m always sad when the Amazon truck passes by my house and doesn’t stop! But that usually doesn’t happen! 😂😂😂. Love everything you made! And I agree with you, that pajama set could definitely be worn out of the house! Very nice job!

😂😂 Sounds like you can relate to how I felt when the Amazon driver didn’t come to my door. lol. Thank you so much. I’m so glad I bought a pj set a couple of weeks ago. I don’t see myself sleeping in this set, at least not anytime soon. :)

That Gardetto’s snack is one of my husband’s favorites, too. 😊 Nice makes you’ve shared. Agree the p.j.s could look cute styled in different ways. Nobody needs to know they weren’t supposed to be street wear. ☺️ I can seldom wear white comfortably because I’m always worried about getting it stained.🥴
@Manecoarse5 ай бұрын
I totally know what you mean about getting white stained. I have to try to be on my best behavior when wearing white. 😂 I totally see why Gardetto’s are one of your husband’s favorite snacks. They are truly tasty. I’m looking forward to styling the pjs in different ways. It will be my little secret that I’m really wearing pjs in public. :). Thank yoi.

Simplicity 8740 , i got it for 1 cent at the Joann's fabrics door buster sale 2 years ago , havent made anything from it yet though , thanks for the wonderful share of it , right now i'm working on the McCalls jumper M8008 , hacking it , its coming beautiful , almost finish & ❤ing it , changing it into a jumper dress 👗
@Manecoarse5 ай бұрын
Oh, nice. Getting that pattern for one cent is the best. It’s a good pattern to have, for sure. You’re welcome. That McCall’s 8008 sounds like it’s going to be awesome. So creative to change it into a dress. I love that idea. What kind of fabric are you using?
@ToniWilson-c4q5 ай бұрын
@@Manecoarse I'm using that checker board light blue twill & dark light weight denim from Hobby Lobby , you like sew much , like that jumper they have hanging near the fabric & replacing the slide buckles with D rings , which will give the shoulder straps a different direction , they will hang on the inside of the jumper instead of outside & using big & small goddets in between the pants legs to give the bottom of the jumper dress 👗 more flare , I also replace the blouse that came with the pattern with McCals M8147 , view B mock collar neck , using that patchwork denim look fabric from Hobby Lobby

@@Manecoarse I'm also eliminating the upper zippers in the front , leaving only the bottom zipper , adding the 2 upper zippers to the back instead , I place the upper bib on the fold to avoid the seam , I do not like that seam down the upper middle , i'm adding 2 snaps to each pocket cover & adding pocket covers to the back pockets , I'm almost done with it , then I'll start on the blouse , I made the top bib fancy by adding lining to it & the pockets

When knits like what you have first came out, they were a tube. Later they made them with salvage edges. I’ve never bought a sheet to make something. I see several people that use them for muslins. What kind of dress form did you purchase? I’m looking at a few different brands. I want to be able to pin into the form; those are more pricey.
@Manecoarse5 ай бұрын
Oh really? I wasn’t aware that knits came out in tubes when they first came out. That’s really interesting. I’m new to using sheets, but I’ve been really loving them. I think they’re great for muslins too. My dress form is from PGM, and you can pin into it. Hope that helps.

Hello again. I was wondering if you could suggest a cute overall pattern? I want to make it up in a steel gray linen. I love the Sew House Seven Burnside Bibs, but I bought that pattern once about 3 years ago and lost the download. I don't want to pay $16 again! Any suggestions?
@Manecoarse5 ай бұрын
Hi. What about Simplicity 8641? It really reminds me of the Burnside Bib pattern.

That's super cute!! How do I turn that into pants? I really wish I could come and take classes with you...or your twin!😊
@Manecoarse5 ай бұрын
@@50fitnfrolushous Aww. Thank you. That is so sweet of you to say. I was thinking you may be able to email the designer of the Burnside pattern. If she has your information and can see that you purchased the pattern, she may send the download to you again. It might be worth a try. To turn a skirt into pants, you could take a pants pattern that has the width that you like. Place the skirt on top of the pants pattern. Keep the waist of the skirt pattern and blend the skirt pattern into the pants pattern starting from the waist of the skirt to create a new pattern.
