Congratulations on your hundredth episode of garbage picking I hope you get your package soon so you can wear your vest and not get run over by a car I'm doing very well garbage picking I found some antique golf clubs the other day and another Dyson vacuum which I had repaired and sold
@neonskyline15 жыл бұрын
@@anthonybollini3699 Dyson vacs were always on tips or thrown away when i was hunting, we've had three, bag less expensive pieces of crap, we've got two bagged Miele vacs now, never had any problems with them and man do they suck, we've had a Dyson a washing machine as well, that was garbage

I thought of you, we are remodeling a 1965 house and we gutted the bathroom and my husband hauled the cast iron tub and sink to the scrap yard and it was over 400 lbs!!! That was a lot of work for a 66 year old man. He had to break the tub up with a saw and a sledge hammer first or we could never carry it out. When he was done I said "Taco Stacks would be proud of us."

Idea for the rustic stool. Cut off the bad/rotten part and shorten the legs to make a shorter table. Then you won't have to try to match the paint/finish on any replacement wood.

You never know the Shark might work. People just get a new vacuum cause there's just stops picking up. All they have to do is take it apart and clean them. Congrats on 100!!!
@kyrad65435 жыл бұрын
Yep. I have a five year old Shark and just bought another one. I moved my original one to the basement. Still works just fine. But I wanted the newest model that has the duo clean for my main floor. So yes, people will buy a new one even if the other one works just fine.

You should print that on the side of your van "saving earth one piece of junk at a time!"
@CovidConQuitTheCensorship5 жыл бұрын
In Australia, we have a lot of printers on the verge, and modems, DVD's, TV's, couches and those big outdoor gas patio heaters, cost too much in gas so they finish up on the verge. Also gym/exercise equipment, it's everywhere. You can pick up good treadmills but they usually weigh a ton. But printers and modems would be the most common where I am. After watching you pick up blow moulds, I thought they were beautiful but had never seen them here until one day I found 3 or 4 really nice ones. I sold them very quickly and haven't found any since. Our hard rubbish collection has paused for Christmas and New Year, will resume early in the New Year. It's fun and like you, I love saving the earth. Thank you

Here we have quarterly pickup for bulky items. And another pickup twice a year for tree limbs and yard waste. That is only time you can place your old stuff on curb. You can take it to the dump yourself at any time. Have you ever picked furniture on College graduation day? What a haul you would make. Those kids leave wonderful stuff on curbs and leave town. Near campus location.

The blue and grey item you called a tri-pod is a fold out clothes hanger to hang wet clothes to air dry.

I took an old cat tree and wrapped jute around the scratched part, our cats love it, it looks new now
@kingcephus15 жыл бұрын
At 11:31 you picked up a “tripod thing.” It is a drying rack for clothes. It does open as a tripod. The other piece would extend up, and three plastic arms would lock into place. Clothes (on hangers) can then be hung on each arm to dry. This is also used at dance competitions and dance recitals to hang costumes on.

Hi! That vacuum is exactly like mine which I think is the best vacuum I ever had. There are two sponge filters and if they get too clogged, it shuts down if it gets too hot. Rinse them out in the sink and let him dry overnight. It might work fine after that. You can check every single spot if it's clogged somewhere.
@dkworkman825 жыл бұрын
Who cares if people complain, it’s all going to the dump anyways , so just clip the wires on vacuums , or ect , keep doing your thing 👍

Doesn't hurt to check on snap on to see if there's some type of warranty on that Snap-on chair you never know and I bet you can sell the seat part not the frame if there's no warranty and if you got other chairs it wouldn't hurt to see if you might not be able to repair it with other chair parts

Thank you Taco Stacks! I enjoyed my journey with you again! BTW when you picked up the vintage chair you moved a black electric "copper wires" fan for a radiator on top of that chair.

Congrats on your 100th trash picking video Taco. Please keep ‘em coming. Side note: did you ever wonder that perhaps some of us viewers do your “peace sign-off” gesture back at you at the end of each video? Or is it just me? I believe it is part of the connection we have with you (and Salsa) because of the great content you deliver each day and the desire we have for the continued success of your channel. And you definitely inspire me to hustle more. Thanks for sharing your knowledge, displaying a consistent and outstanding work ethic in each of your videos, and small parts of your personal life with us. As always, peace!

Weedwhacker shields, this is where you pull out your phone and check sold listings on ebay. There is an amazing amount of bits and pieces and parts that sell on ebay. I buy ink for my very old printer for $9.99, it is $65 everywhere else. If those looked new there are people out there who want them.

My friend Janice and I used to go metal scrapping all the time and we would stop at body shops to see if they had any scrap metal so we can take it to the scrap yard. Sometimes they had a lot of scrap metal. At times they would even scrap cars. We made a killing on that so to speak. Have you ever went to body shops and ask them if they had any scrap metal that you can take to the scrapyard? Sometimes you can make a lot of money on that

Aren't there like a 100's of thousands of bottles down in Puerto Rico after the hurricane that aren't any good(at least as far as drinking) after they sat out in the sun for months. Probably a similar situation here.

Mike O'Connell, Chemicals leech out of the plastic bottles over time and/or if they get heated. It’s not that those poor people turned their noses up at the water it was that the water was not safe to drink.

Some companies stand behind their merchandise and will fix it for you if you ask. Snap on is a major brand so it wouldn't hurt to ask
