Look What I Got from Kijiji - STIHL BR420 Backpack :)

Ever since I bought the BG86 3 weeks ago..I've always wanted to have a STIHL backpack leafblower. I was turned against it because the price for a new entry level backpack blower the BR420 magnum (the 380 isn't sold here) was $580 before tax.
I was on kijiji (like craigslist) the night before (July 3rd, this was filmed on July 4) searching for STIHL trimmers (curious to see what was being offered, an FS-106 and FS-85) and typed in leaf blower for the fun of it. As luck would have it I found this BR-420 for the half the price for a new one. I emailed and called the owner so I can take a look at it.
When I went there, he told me The model was 5 years old, but it looked amazing for its age. I tried it out before buying it and was very impressed. The guy rarely used it (had only used it for 2 years). So decided to buy it for $275. He threw in ear muffs ($80 value), 5 cartons of 2-cycle oil and a gas tank for it for free !! Awesome.
I've no regrets buying the 86. The trick is to be VERY PATIENT for things to come up. So for the price for the New Backpack, I have 2 very powerful units. Specs are 57cc rated at 3.55hp and has 172mph blowing speed.

@man9170 regular 87 octane, but it is mixed with STIHL's synthetic oil. I go through $120 a week on fuel with my lawn business, $60 for my car, the rest for the lawn equipment. The STIHLS are VERY good on gas.

here in the the UK this is known as the BR380 . i have had mine for over 6 years now and it always starts after 2 pulls and runs strong and keeps on going year after year . prob the best non 4 mix blower stihl ever made .

@Smallgasengine1 The idle speed is normal for a BR420. If you check other videos with them, they idle at a similar speed. I actually like the speed its set to, I rarely have to squeeze the trigger :)

They really are the best blower stihl makes. No I switched to 89. The only ones that run on 87 are the lawnboys

@flynnlandscaping don't need a exmark that big. Standard gate sizes here in Canada are around 27-30'' How could I get through the backyards of customers?

@Jon3800 in Florida they go for 329.99 new for a 380 but i got a 7 year old br 420 magnum 4 50 dollars off of one of my landscaping buddies after somebody stole my 550
