@@AustrianStacker i just love the detail of a good condition young head sovereign. It has a feminine beauty and elegance about it. I bought several good condition young heads earlier this year, minted in Sydney and Melbourne, they are gorgeous coins!

The Shield back sovereign is very desirable. I live in a 'Victorian Town', there are many Victorian buildings and Queen Victoria visited twice. The hotels where she stayed still exist. There would have been a lot of soldiers and Cavalry in the town for her visits and cannon salutes. It was a time of great prosperity for the UK. Both coins are great, I also have a lot of the 1/10th Krugerrands too including 1981.

Sovereigns are great. I wish the Austrian Mint would have continued minting Ducats etc. The modern re-strikes are great but it's not like the Sovereign that was continuously minted.

A lot of people don’t like the krugerrand but I have a fondness for them even though they aren’t the best looking coins. Of course love the sovereign

People can say what they want about Krugerrand. It's one of the most liquid coins. I never heard of any coin shop or PM dealer not accepting Krugerrand. I know a lot that don't buy other coins.

Awesome video. Love that gold. I will be doing a video later today on an update on my new $1gold that I purchased to update my type set. Only 2 pieces of gold to go and Type set will be complete. Not to get in your business but wondering what the 1/10 gold is going for there. I know the Krugerrand has a premium. 1/10 gold eagles people are trying to sell at $300. Gold is going crazy. Mir gefällt das Design sehr gut. Ich finde, dass die gesamte Serie sehr gelungen ist. Die hohen Goldpreise bestätigen doch die Strategie aller, die in Gold investieren. Die Frage ist nur, wie lange sich Otto-Normalbürger noch Gold leisten kann. Irgendwann muss reagiert und Silber steuerbefreit werden, sonst sind Edelmetalle nur noch für Einkommensreiche und Reiche eine Option.
