Got one of these on order! Aliens is my favorite movie! Man, there are so many shots on this table it's incredible. Only thing I'm worried about is reliability, hope they built these well! Have fun!!

Hi, Gonzo. As you know, I'm usually here just for the algorithm so I can support you; but today I did actually watch the video. So, as a non-pinball person I'd just like to say this looked amazing to play. The sneaky way the ball went down that right-hand side; the green eggs; the magnificent alien opening-up and taking the ball - super! Incidentally, the reason I don't usually watch is because of sensory overload - but this wasn't too bad (probably because there wasn't too much noise). Need a cup of tea now.

Perfect theme for me. Had a quick go at Pinfest but the machine had problems so couldn't form a decent opinion of it. Hopefully the problems have been sorted in that respect. Reckon it'll grow on you, I'd play it to death. Enjoy 👍

You say youtube would go bonkers if you had the sound on. But im watching a 3 week old video lasting 70 minutes by some pinball campion, and his video is full on blasting this game with all the great sounds and it sohnds amazing. So i dont think they touch sounds in pinball machines. Ive heard a few by now and they all keep the sounds on. Also, you got the eggs. The face huggers, the chest busters and the aliens. Or the Xenomorphs if you will. And its Xena as in Zeena not Xena like Zen. Finally, it didnt say Big Hunt.. It clearly said Bug Hunt.. As in what the marines call it in Aliens. No, you're clearly not into the films, we get that.. 😉

I don't doubt there are youtube videos with the sound on. However KZbin is my job and I can't afford the copyright strike and possible demonetisation. Not on this channel but on my sport channels but they're all linked so it's not worth the risk. I have too much to lose. I did enjoy the films (except for the prison one). I just haven't watched them multiple times so don't know the names for all the stuff like I do with Star Wars or Lord of The Rings. I probably should go back and watch them again actually, I think Aliens was the one I enjoyed most. The one with the yellow crane thingy with the woman inside 😉

@@GonzosPinballFlipperama well, so far i found that almost 90% has tue sound on as they want us to hear the game. When playing an Alien game ots basically the most important part of the game. Its movie quotes galore in Alien 1 and 2. So would be strange to leave that out. Im sure there's a Predator game out there with the whole.. Over here, Anytime and what the hell are you.? And get to the chopper.. In there as well.. There's a good Blade Runner out there too.. And you cant kill sounds on those things.. Its what makes it great.

Obviously I play the game with the sound on. The sound quality on that pinball brothers game is excellent 👌 I just dial it down during video for licence reasons

Might sound odd but for this kind of money I want a spaceship on the playfield. Ideally one of the ones from alien or aliens. The nostromo or a gunship and a power lifter which moves....

This is actually one of the cheapest games in the UK. Quite a packed game compared to others at the same price

Great theme but a missed opportunity for me, playfield artwork looks very bland with little Giger to be seen anywhere, SI looks better and its 40 years old and they didnt have the licence

Does Alien have Flow? Not so much. Too bad it doesn't have any of the original movie clips.

It wouldn't say it had massive amounts of flow but the orbits do flow quite a a lot.

It bothers me that the machine is called "Alien" but the videos, modes, graphics, layout are all references to "Aliens." Totally different film/director/art direction. It seems like they could have stuck to the script and created a better game truer to the original film. When I got married, I had to sell my SI because it wouldn't fit in the new house. I wonder where that machine is now.

Hi Matt. There are two ways to play the game it seems. Either in Alien mode or Aliens mode. Each branch gives different missions from the respective films.

As he says, both films is on the board. You can pick them. If Ripley is in the escape pod you're watching film one, if the marines are there its film 2.
