Bro you seem like a real chill dude! I’m happy things turned around for you Bro! I got the chance to keep my felony drug charge off of my record doing a pretty intensive deferred probation for 5 years. Unfortunately I didn’t have my head right and was young not really giving a fuck so I ended up getting it revoked after 2 years snd a lot of money later 😬😅! I was able to get 1244A and serve my time in county as a trustee instead of going to State Jail. With my back-time and getting 3 for 1’s I went back to court a few months later and they gave me time served. All I’m saying is to take that program more seriously than I did and build you a good life! It ain’t easy, but it is possible to complete it! 8 years is a lot more than I had hanging over my head though so that should give you some serious motivation right there! I grew up in the 856 in South Jersey that bail reform aint no joke! I sat in jail for 2 weeks over a simple assault offense because there was no bail. Jersey really has a whole different system in general

@@gregorygras9863 ok smart ass I've done much longer bids just to make it clear but the way NJ used to be is if it was a simple assault charge which is a misdemeanor you would be out within like 24-48 hrs now if you get in trouble for any violent offense no matter how small you don't get the option for bail the only way you're getting out before your case is done is a detention hearing. So yea that is sorta a small charge to sit and wait 2 weeks plus over because I had to wait for a detention hearing which took that long when 1 year before I'd have been out within a day. We're only talking a simple little street fight here and my first offense in this state for assault. Before you go cracking wise ass jokes.... learn the whole backstory of something. That's why i said the bail reform isn't no joke. Imagine kingpin drug dealers still at least having some high level bail meanwhile you get into a street fight no one even goes to the hospital and it may have been in self defense that's yet to be determined and bail literally doesn't exist for you because it still counts as a violent crime being assault and all. You'd be pretty pissed too if you were sitting in there for weeks over such a petty charge that most states you'd be out in less then 2 days maybe not even make it past being simply processed at the station.

Whenever I couldn't get a hold of people, I'd look online to see the sheet at the county jail.. seriously they had people for as little as 250 bail warrants. Complete bs .. locked up for being broke

For the people saying that he probably snitched to get out being that he had 8 yrs, your buggin. Im born and raised in Nj and EVERYTHING he said is the truth that's the way the New Jersey system works. If you're a non-violent offender in New Jersey then you are usually eligible for what's called ISP like he said it's basically a more supervised parole. Usually once you touch grounds of prison for a few months you're eligible but every case is different but every single thing the men said is true so don't say he's snatched or he's lying. My brother was on ISP he had to do everything this guy is doing had to keep a job do community service had a curfew 6 a.m. to 6 p.m. all of that unfortunately he did violate so he's back in prison hopefully he comes out on the straight and narrow. But that's besides the point point is the dude is telling the truth he had an eight flat not an eight stip know if he had a stip instead of a flat then the circumstances would be completely different but when you have a flat number and New Jersey you're usually eligible for ISP. just some information for the people who don't know the New Jersey system

I'm from the 856 Camden NJ. I have graduated the the drug court program its a tough program but it is what u make it just like ISP. I had two (4 flats) ran concurrent. Just do what u got to do man and don't worry about anything man. I had a co defendant snitch on me for gun charge when I was juvenile.

You can drop for ISP from the county jail before you even touch down in your home prison. 6'oclock curfew. no cell phone. you have to keep a receipt for every penny you spend. Violate ISP and youll be back down in prison so fast your head will spin. I saw cats leave on ISP and come back 5-6 days later... deadass on everything when i saw them come back i thought they went to medical for a few days lol

You only have to do 3 months on each flat year before you're eligible for parole. ISP comes sometimes while you are in county. So people don't even go down state. All depends on your record. ISP is inmate set-up program. It's like super parole. I've never met anyone to make it

3 months each year is for parole eligibility... ISP is super parole...it's not worth it. 6 o'clock curfew. 3x a week check in. If you don't answer a call they can send you right back and the time out don't count I believe

@@josephlynch8366 Each flat doesn't have a 3 month eligibility date... It changes according to the number. 3 flat is 9 to 10 months before seeing parole. 8 flat is almost 4 yrs. He got classified real low, got full minimum status and was scared to death and dropped for ISP instead of a halfway house
