I dont think Chuuya would ever let Dazai go back there, or back to the mafia… but I also cant see Chuuya leaving the mafia. I think the most realistic thing to happen here is for Chuuya to try and keep Dazai safe and away from all of it, and for Dazai to surrender to the police. HEAR ME OUT! So he “broke his promise”, right? At least he thinks he did. The only way to make sure he never hurt anyone again (in his mind) would be to be locked up and put away for his crimes. This way he pays, gets sentenced to death (which is probably a bonus to him), and he also cant kill any other innocent people. This opens the door to the idea of 1. How would the mafia/ada react to Dazai surrendering the the authorities? 2. Would Dazai snitch about the inner workings of the mafia? 3. How would Chuuya react? I doubt kunikida would be… healthy… for very long. 4. Atsushi and Aktegawa would probably lose their minds. Would they try to plead his case? Or kill each other? Many doors open. In conclusion: this au has SO MUCH POTENTIAL, and I have my eye on it!!! New subscriber now!
