Back to some normality today, with a trip to my dad's for a Sunday family dinner. We got caught up with the rest of the family, and Andy integrated himself better in to the group better than he ever has before, but then it all went wrong at dinner, when he looked at a drink Amy had, started to gag, and then threw up so we had to go home. We think we know why, but it's a bit of a puzzle...

ABOUT THE CHAPMAN FAMILY
Hello folks and welcome to The Chapman Family! We are Kevin (dad), Anna (mum), Lucy (age 17), Andy (age 15), Amy (age 13) and Dave (around 35 in dog years).

A BRIEF HISTORY OF THE CHAPMAN FAMILY
When Kevin left his full-time job as a Computer Science teacher in July 2017, Anna was trapped in our house by our son Andy, who is autistic and had refused to go to school for 18 months. Our daughters Lucy and Amy and our dog Dave hardly saw him because he was always working to try and solve all our problems! Today we're full-time content creators and Kevin is always at home when the kids get home from school (all our kids!) and Anna has been able to return to university. This channel is the story of my family's ongoing journey as family vloggers! Previously known as lollujo Vlogs and Kevin Chapman.

Fruit shoot has changed alot, the bottles are a completely different shape, cap size and taste alot different. Maybe the stress off the change increased his anxiety 😭 I hope you can help andy with it ❤️ keep up the good work 🙏

I’m not autistic, but the sight of fruit shoots also make me feel physically ill! I don’t know what it is about them but they just make my throat go so tight.

I've known some kids who have vomited even at the sight of certain foods. It's not uncommon. My son has a tic that makes him wretch just randomly. We thought he was getting sick for a long time before realizing it was a tic. Hope Andy is doing better today. Loved seeing the whole family. :)

She probably would have been like "what is that?" 😂 Good job Andy for trying to hang out in the room with everyone! Looked like you all had a blast. I know in the States that drink reminded me of this thing called "Bug Juice". I know weird but not really bug juice. They just called it that.

As odd as Andy's sickness over fruit shoot sounds I have a similar experience with apple juice. I used to drink it all the time then one one day I was sick after drinking it and it tasted of apple juice..... Now if I smell apple juice it makes me feel sick

Maybe everything just got too much for Andy. Just back from Belgium, going back to school, forcing himself to sit in the room with you guys, my guess would be that fruit shoot was just one of many things that's made him not feel quite right. Glad it was just momentarily!
