This may have been the first HR cartoon I ever saw- I was little so I'm not quite sure but it was definitely ONE of the earliest so it is one of the most ingrained in my head, I'm delighted to see this classic uploaded here :D

So many years later, I watched this again trying to see if I could figure out the parts of the story that don't make sense, but nope. I guess the lack of logic is part of the humor and now I'm old enough to see that i guess? lmao. Bubs donating drinks to Strong Bad's trick for free so that Homestar could not pay for drinks so that Strong Bad could get drinks for free without doing anything except asking Bubs to donate drinks for free so that Bubs can get a free drink from himself by tricking Homestar into fetching drinks by EXCLUDING him from the cool thing they weren't really doing... hahahaha I still love this cartoon.

This definitely feels like an earlier one. Homestar seems a bit more... intelligent? I feel like later homestar wouldn't have suspected anything even after seeing bubs with his drink. He'd also probably turn out to be more interested in the bag itself than the thing inside of it or trying to fit in. It's always interesting to see how much characters subtly change over time.
