I guess the lack of logic is part of the humor and now I'm old enough to see that i guess? lmao. Bubs donating drinks to Strong Bad's trick for free so that Homestar could not pay for drinks so that Strong Bad could get drinks for free without doing anything except asking Bubs to donate drinks for free so that Bubs can get a free drink from himself by tricking Homestar into fetching drinks by EXCLUDING him from the cool thing they weren't really doing... hahahaha I still love this cartoon.

This definitely feels like an earlier one. Homestar seems a bit more... intelligent? I feel like later homestar wouldn't have suspected anything even after seeing bubs with his drink. He'd also probably turn out to be more interested in the bag itself than the thing inside of it or trying to fit in. It's always interesting to see how much characters subtly change over time.
