Agreed. Just wait till your first full on thanksgiving, cooking every dish you grew up, with, which got ruined because you a) forgot to turn oven on, b) cranked it too high, oh or c) not having your sides come out at same time as each other or the turkey, has you crying in a puddle on the kitchen floor. You'll definitely need his support then. My mom used to laugh at me because 5 thanksgiving in, I would still call her for instructions (preinternet), even from Germany with the time difference. Lol. Just remember, all that matters is the effort behind whatever you do. 🤗👍💕

I’m dressing up as Belle from Beauty and the Beast and my boyfriend is dressing up as a taco... so together we’ll be Taco Belle. Past couple costumes for us include Max and Roxanne from a Goofy movie, Wayne and Garth, the Fairy Odd Parents, and Donald and Daisy Duck just to name a few! Next year I think I’m going to convince home to go as Agatha and Zero, but this year was his turn to pick!

Easy recipe: Tilapia fish fillets, brown them a little bit in olive oil in a pan, adding salt and white pepper on each side. Takes about 3-5 minutes per side. Serve with whatever.

Try Mississippi pot roast in the crockpot. You can find the recipe on Pinterest but I’ll give you one little tip that might not be in the recipe online, salt and pepper your meat and sear it on all sides before you put in the crockpot. It’s perfection. I use a boneless pork shoulder for mine 😉

I'm from Mississippi and have never heard of it. I'm definitely making it. Also, I saw a recipe for Mississippi chicken, too. I have made a chicken dish that is similar that I poured a coke into and then shredded. I put it on hamburger buns and ate it like bbq. So good. Love you girl!

I use to feel the same way when my ex said that what I made was good with more cooking you'll gain more confidence and then believe when he says that it is good...it's good. I love the Pioneer Woman. Her recipes are easier to make, you more than likely have the ingredients, and always tasty. You can also adapt if you don't like a certain ingredient. I do a lot of cooking and I always recommend her for those who don't cook much. Love that she has step by step instructions as well as pictures showing what is going on. I tried her homemade sloppy joes and they are way better than the can recipe.

I love Pioneer Woman’s bakeware and housewares that is carried by Walmart. Never tried a recipe though! And I go to Voodoo Fest in NOLA every year and regret not dressing up EVERY. SINGLE. TIME. I want to be a ring leader and have my fiancé dress up as a lion. He’s all about wearing a onesie in public, but I never plan far enough in advance. Loved the video!

I don't usually dress up for Halloween, but I have three kids that do! My 7yr old daughter will be Wonder Woman, my 9 (almost 10) yr old son will be Captain America, and my 11-going on 12 daughter is going to be a butterfly! They have HUGE wings you can buy on Amazon that reach the ground in the middle and have loops for your middle fingers so you can make the wings fly!

gonna be a doctor.. like every year.. my aunts a doc so i get scrubs and my mans a butcher so i get a nicely stained lab coat (yes its clean just stained) and i put cuts on myself and wear a mask covered in fake blood. its perfect because i have lupus and im on high doses of steroids so my immune system is suppressed, so i get to mask up in front of little kiddies to protect me since its flu season but also get to freak them out haha
