Thank You for condensing your explorations and reviews into interesting and enjoyable videos! I just subscribed and will catch up on what I've missed. SOOOO much nicer than channels with endless drone shots of Landcruiser and Patrol desert travel and night travel. Cheers, and keep up the great work!

Should discuss alloy over steel. Both have their positives
@markcowan6215 жыл бұрын
Steel vs alloy vs rotomoulded (smartbar) could be something worth touching on. I've heard steel for serious 4x4, alloy for typical type touring and rotomoulded haven't really heard anything about. I'm very green when it comes to this stuff so would be interesting hearing your thoughts.

Yeah but he touched on a very good point, even if not serious 4wd, but touring esp you will be night driving and distance driving, Roo or any animal strike, is high, it’s being prepared for the unexpected, steel bar and Aussie made no question, this is a functional and serious piece of equipment not a Sydney farmers look at me how cool my Ranger is with 4” lift and as far as it goes for serious off roading is Bunnings car park. All good having allot in the US most are for show and anything cheap it’s on those idiots heads, if ya have any care for your family, friends riding with you, self and vehicle then people need to think with there heads not wallet, not looks, many good Aus custom and bars like ARB, that also look good, but Aussie made is made for Aus, Aus conditions by people who understand that, also can’t understand why people wouldn’t support Aussie made first anyway. (doesn’t ness have to be ARB just saying)

60.3mm not 63mm isn't that right? TJM n OL are the only 63mm bars

had an arb bar on hilux and was ok but was forever replacing spotlights after animal strike and in the end a big roo ended up taking the ute out . I have a hopper knocker 5 post on my dual cab cruiser and will not go back having that dozer blade on the front is a must plus from my experience the toyotas have enough power that if the bar does dig in on a incline it just pushes through. on a ute worth 90k id rather the bar dig a bit that have another write off definitely up north

we have an ECB bullbar and even tho they don't come with the side rails we never needed them even when we hit kangaroos its never been on the side always hit them at the front. we go for ECB as they are Aussie made and lightweight.

In the shed make a bracket that clamps on to the bull bar. The bracket could be a demolition derby spike!

4:07 Can a bullbar interfeer with the Airbag? I mean, can it prevent airbag from functioning? On a big crash, can it happen that the car gets hit, the front part folds, but airbag does not open? And one question in case of a crash impact. Can it happen that bullbar interfeers with the way the front part of the car folds? Normally the front part of the car folds in case of an impact. But, if the bullbar comes in, can it happen that some bars of the bullbar makes the fold unexpectedly to fail? Can it fold more than it should, just because of the bullbar? Thanks

ARB is designed with crumple points, and airbag safe - This is the reason I am ordering one for my Nissan. They are DOT approved (Dept of Transportation).

Yer you forgot to mention the 200kg at front, losing 150KMS a full tank because of it. It also comes out too fucking far, partnered with the weight.... i dont like it.
