Looking Back at Derry

As a recent visitor with ancestral roots in Ireland, I completely enjoyed the movie! I loved the city and will surely return.

One bit of information you forgot about women in Derry is that the city itself is often called "The Maiden City" as the female population is very high in ratio compared to the men. Most people in northern Ireland refer to themselves as Irish over British, the English are the only people I know who call themselves British, in Scotland and Wales most call themselves Scottish and Welsh over British. Just as a word of advice it depends who you ask and some are very aggressive over their nationality

If you go to watch rangers play you will find plenty of scottish people who call themselves British!
